Second full day in Kyiv. I am already exhausted.

What is SA?

As PhotoSlider said, it is Seeking Arrangements. There is a thread dedicated to it on this board. I have had some success with it in other places in the world. However, I would not necessarily recommend it for Ukraine. Mostly girls with an over inflated opinion of self worth and scam artists that want money for nothing. I finally arrived yesterday and things in Airport went smoothly. I already had an Ukrainian SIM card so the app setup was easy, I have a long term visa so no insurance required, and passport control went smoothly.

Been here a for a couple of days by now. Few tourists, but local people very active and cafes and bars and terrazes look busy as normal, only after 23.30 h things get slow weekdays since not many tourists in town. 90% of people wear no mask and in general in restaurants and cafes no stress about covid as in other places.

Thanks for suggesting this. At the shop I went to, guy downloaded .apk file from personal website. Evidently, they are familiar with the problem. When I attempted top-up, BankOfAmerica Visa denied charge but Ally Mastercard accepted. Both USA banks. From what I can tell, service stays dormant, with no loss of number, for about a year after last top-up, then becomes active after top-up big enough to pay monthly tariff. So I'll probably keep this SIM indefinitely, rather than buying new SIMs each summer.

Yesterday I went over to a local Vodafone shop in Ukraine and complained that I couldn't install the vodafone app, as it says "This app is not available in your country."

It turned out that it was because my android phone was registered in the USA with Google. But I did not want to change that setting.

So the staff at the office manually transferred the app from their computer to my phone using a cable.

It worked, and I was able to top up using my US bank card.

Locals fuck girls cheaper, or for free, but as we all know nothing is free.
