Being very elated with my first night success at Arena I ventured back there on the Saturday night at about 11pm. Once again decided just to sit and watch over a beer or two and try to get upstairs later. My second time in Kiev, starting to get to know the place, and appreciate it more and more. I lack the time (and even though I am younger, the stamina) to emulate Hunter's frequency, however so far it has proven relatively easy to properly prepare the grounds for some great evenings and nights. For me the key is to identify the right ones, and this trip it went well, other times it has been a disaster, but it’s all in the game.

Some operational info, I book an apprt through one of my friends, was just off Kreshatik and paid USD 100/night for a nice and clean apprt. And I never pay more than USD 20 for an airport transfer, some of the prices here sound very high for Kiev. Inyourpocket.com gives lots of information on nice bars/restaurants/apprt rental etc for those who are interested.

I read between the lines that not everyone is a Hunter Dave fan. I actually believe him and will join his fanclub if there is one.

I am going to Kiev in a few weeks and because of his reports I joined Mamba and really did my homework. All of a sudden the reason I am there (business) is not important anymore and I already cancelled one meeting because of my hobby.
