Maybe it was a bit longer then that. As the Kyiv nightlife and sugar daddy scene developed PP must have become less then an ideal location for the hot girls. Up until 2005 it was one of very few upscale locations.

A note about Rio & River Palace: Most of these girls, especially those who haven't been in the business for a long time, are looking actually for a permanent sponsor. If you are in Kiev for a long trip or come here on a regular basis, you can easily turn many of these girls into freebies relatively quickly, given you are willing to invest some time and energy. The first time you take them home, treat them real nice, like a girlfriend. If there is chemistry between you and the sex was good, next day SMS them thanking for a great night and say something like you are looking forward to see them again. Invite them to your apartment a few days later and pay again. Then invite them to a regular date: to dinner, movies, bowling, skating etc. The 3rd or 4th time around you will probably not need to pay at all. Agree PP Hotel is fine if rather soulless and rooms are a bit drab.

I have seen several lobby girls, but crap quality. Staff always look bored?

Tried The Opera last time, which was better I thought, apart from location.

Anyway, I had a good look around Taboo 'nightclub' It's quite impressive & classy. The girls were just awesome!! but it's obvious you will spend a small fortune before even a sniff of take out and so decided to leave it until I have something to celebrate and feeling stupid! Speaking of Premier Palace, it is a great no-hassles girl-friendly hotel with a perfect location.

Rooms OK... probably 4 star by international standards, but overall 5 star ambience.

I was on my way to my apartment on Lesi Ukrainki Blvd. When all of a sudden this blond hair guy finds a bag on the ground. Acting surprised he show's me it's a bag full of cash. He was very convincing. Then he offers to spilt half of it with me. My greed got the best of me and I said okay. At the last moment I said "no I don't want it, you keep it" because I remembered reading in some forum about this scam. With in 15 seconds another guy claims he lost a lot of money. I believe the scam goes like this, If I had taken the money, the other man who conveniently showed up just before the transfer, would have said that was his money. He would count it and say there is some missing. He would accuse me of keeping some of his money. He would harass me and call me a thief. He would then threaten to call the police, until I paid him the remainder of the missing money. Fortunately I remembered the the article that one of our fellow hobbyist wrote.

Also a friend of mine in Kiev told me an associate of his had won $2000 at River Palace. He was going to take a taxi home, but a car just happened to pull up and offered to take them where they were going. The girl he met at RP said it was better to take the car because it was cheaper then the taxi. He reluctantly agreed. He didn't realize it at the time, but the girl slipped some drugs in his drink while he was inside RP. He woke up in some alley with all his money stolen. So my fellow hobbyist always keep your eye your drink. If you're unsure about it get a new one! And if you are carrying a lot of cash on you. It's better take the taxi! Play it safe unless you are absolutely sure you can trust the girl your taking to your apartment or hotel.

On my next report I will write about a great experience I had at a massage parlor in Kiev.
