Iam exploring Kiev / Baku for a trip in October.

Please suggest as which one is better for mongering?

No, I am not young, not at all!

My comments to your list:

1. Younger. - up to 49 years is ok if the other factors are good.

2. Attractive, fit, well-groomed, healthy. - yes, of course.

3. Properly dressed (by Kiev standards). - not really, jeans and t-shirt is ok.

4. Self-confident, assertive, but not arrogant. - this is key element.

5. Adequate financial resources. May vary from $50 to $500+ a day depending on lifestyle. IMHO either way is fine. You earn, you spend. - not at all. You won't tell about your financial ressources on first meeting, will you? And 50 k $ is no resource, is it?

6. At least 10-15 days at disposal. - no need for that but of course, is good.

7. Visiting Kiev or Ukraine regularly. - no, why?

8. Having the game, street smarts, and whatever you want to call it. - of course this is essential (see also number 4).

9. Speaking Russian or Ukrainian. - absolutely not needed.

10. Having contacts from prior visits. - absolutely not needed.

- Numbers 2, 4 and 8 seem to be key elements.

And let's face it, if key elements are missing and / or if there is a 40+ old guy, maybe no good figure and not good looking tries to get a beautiful 20-30 year old girl it is just an illusion. Why would such a girl even talk to such a dude?

I prefer 19-22 year old ladies of any color. Short term or multiple days, succession of 3-4-5 girls in a row one after another, or two of them at once on the same bed, or one girl for multiple days. Variety is the name of the game.

For many of us Kiev is the best.

Nice post, pretty hard to be successful in Kiev at budget of $50 a day, I would say $150 minimum, but great advise. This is the only way to be successful in Ukraine, still think there are much better place to Monger.

Aha, the language. That is just a silly excuse for someone who fails! I can confirm that the lack of Russian language makes things harder but certainly is not the reason to fail!

Each of the above adds to a higher probability of success, but doesn't guarantee it.

Take away one by one, and chances go lower and lower. Then you are forced to pay more while quality tends to go lower.

Next subject for discussion: The mongers themselves seem to fall into few categories:

1. Seasoned veterans that weathered multiple storms and environmental changes, and still succeed year after year. Visa-free travel, emergence of Instagram, Maidan, phone calls replaced by Viber and WhatsApp, Riverpalace, exchange rate going from 4 to 8 to 26. Veterans saw it all and still are having exceptional fun.

2. Short term visitors, paying hundreds of dollars and euros a day, and having the time of their lives, knowing they cannot do the same in countries of their residence. Those save for a year or two, and try to come back. Some fail, some succeed. Some complain, some take it in stride.

3. This category is best characterized by Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Grapes". They failed due to few of the above 10 factors, and cannot honestly admit the problem is with them. They blame the moral qualities of ladies and Ukrainian nation in general. They state that there are no beauties in Kiev. Period. Night life does not exist and the City itself is boring any time and day of the week. It is endless.

Well, my word to the latter two categories is simple:

Take a look at the check list above. Adjust it if you want. And then honestly see where you are yourself on the scale from 0 to 10.

IMO there are great grapes of all varieties. Some are very expensive and not necessarily most delicious. Others are rather affordable and after so many visits I cannot stop eating them. You can pick them raw from the garden, or buy on the market. Have it delivered to the door and even prepackaged to take with. You can make your own wine, or go to the liquor store. Does not matter.

I'll have the audacity to state that conceptually this applies to any major mongering destination. And the very same principles worked for me on the global scale.

I would say 90% of the girls there are hookers. Sometimes, regular girls got to dance or to meet foreigners.

I absolutely disagree. I have been to Mykolayev, Donetsk, Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv without any knowledge of Russian language. And I could not complain. Hence, lack of Russian language knowledge is no problem!

Sorta. If you don't speak Russian don't bother visiting other places than Kiev. And in Kiev, try to hit on only the street game. No bars-that are popular with Westerners-no strip clubs, no dance clubs, etc. Rely on street game. And for that you have to be charming, and dress well, and not be too unattractive. Though dressing the part will really work miracles for the day game.

Both from a touristic and mongering point of view.

Especially if you're into blondes. You do have to be a bit liberal with money and have somewhat of an extroverted personality.

For me coming from the States, it was far superior and cheaper than the options I have here in equivalence.

Normal non mongering game is easy as well compared to most other places in the world also just so you know.

D*LUX has closed and has been replaced by the. LEUR, is it still a hookers club? My flat is closer to Caribbean club.

Caribbean is your best option during the week, but is very average. Lot's of Sex Tourist. The Bar is nicer, but very small. There are not many options when it comes to Nightlife in Kiev, very overrated. You need to ht the streets.

I totally agree, Kiev is overrated!

And as said here on another post: Nightlife and hooker scene is average or even poor.

I have been again for a weekend trip 2 weeks ago.

Friday night:

Caribbean Club, It was crowded with many tourists, hardly local people, good atmosphere, music not my taste. Some working girls around, I decided to leave with one nice and sweet looking girl at 3 o clock. It was 100 $ for 1 hour. Sex was not spectacular, too monotonous, she refused kissing and DATY and I was too tired.

The freelancer girls in CC are too much "Pro"-Girls and not like some Semi-Pro Student Girls, who want to enjoy their time with a guy, too.

Saturday night:

Decided to check some local clubs and have been in Chi Decadence and DFleur.

Opposite to CC, here just local young people, no foreigners.
