I visited Kiev a couple of times. I met some nice girls through mamba, although many other encounters were mere disasters.

All types of SIMs are available at Point of Sale. Sometimes they simply cut larger SIM cards with punch-cutters right there in front of you to make a smaller one. Kyivstar is one of the local carriers. There's a big office on Kreshchatyk next to Passage and another one in Bessarabsky Market. Smaller kiosk are all over Kiev.

Sorry for kicking the dead horse, but GIA discount is fake. Right now few 5000 UAH girls advertised as 4500 UAH. $20 off. However only the first hour is discounted. When ordering 4 or 8 or 12 hours, this discount doesn't matter. 9500 or 10000 UAH at 4 hours still translates into only 20 bucks difference. Good marketing trick.
