I posted here back in 2010 that Ukraine will get Visa Free status within few years as a first step before joining the EU. 2010 was also the year when River Palace closed.

Few Kiev Veterans at the time said, it won't happen re Visa Free.

I just briefly checked the rental car price its the same price as US. Still like $25 to $60 a day. Monthly car remtel is more expensive than apartment rental. Maybe I'm checking the wrong place. Any guys know where to rent a car cheap in Kiev? I was there last Nov and Uber can be ordered easily in Kiev but not in Kharkov. Damn Uber is so cheap I don't even know how do people making a living driving Uber there. My trip to KBP from my apartment (a good 15 to 20 min) is like 80 UAH like what $3.5 or less. Their gas price is $3.75/ gal and it's more expensive than San Francisco. How do they live with that?

Yes I do understand that taking Uber is much better idea than renting a car because it's a lot cheaper. But I just want to drive myself sometime. Kharkov they use Uklon, some driver speak English some don't but I'm sure you can find one that does. But still I want to drive myself. I want to drive from Kiev to Kharkov so I can take a look at the deep villages. I took bus last time, it took me like 7 hrs to get there.

I once had a GF in Kiev (almost 10 years ago now). And now they started with direct flights from my city for very cheap money. So I will start going there because I really love the hunt. And from reading the forum I reckon it's still the hunt even though many complain it's too hard hunting grounds for everyone to reap "models", whatever that word means.
