Just one question Billy, where have you been changing your money to UAH?

The rate in sept was around 14 grevnas to the £ or 8. 5 to the $.

10 days ago it was between 13 to 13.35, to the £.

So 50 grevnas is about 3.75.

Frankly speaking, if it wasn't for the current favourable exchange rates and $ to the UAH and cheap airfares from london, I don't think, I would classify Kiev as a reasonable mongering destination..

Was going down memory lane tonight checking rates and came up with my post here on 19, Nov 2009.

Today its US $ =22 UAH and £ =65 . And with Wizzair still flying from London, my 2 rooms arrangement (no 5 stars) in Kiev for my next trip is still very affordable.

Who wants to do thrift at such rates.
