You bring all the money you need for a longer stay? I have only stayed for a couple of nights before but for more than 2 weeks. I would need to bring with me quite a lot. Especially if I get an apartment which needs to be payed in cash. It would have been good if I in some way could have sent money to myself to take out when needed. Not really trust the ATM: s to get what I may need. But perhaps that is ok!?

Any cheap apartments to recommend. I really need to book something within a day or two. I have previous, for short stays, used both hotels and apartments but for apartments sometimes closing up to 100 USD which is just way to much for so many days. 50 USD would have been better but guess that will not happen.

Have actually seen that hotels that more or less kept prices in Grivna, like for example Rus, now are quite cheap compare to what I payed before for apartment but I think apartment would be better stay.

Again if someone would like to meetup some time during second half of July I would be happy to see you. However, don't know if it's easy to arrange through this site.

Have a look at this site, its perfect actually for all over europe, its for normal people who want to rent out there apartments, they have comments about the apartments, photos, and everything, its really excellent, I've used air be and be for 2 years now, there is also an app available which is good also. Hope this helps, there are hundreds and hundreds of quality apartments avail now in Kiev with tourism well down. You can get a very nice apartment here in the embassy region for $50 a night no problem.

Rates of moneychangers in kievbis better than atm and crefitcard. Plus no charge for foreign withdrawals. Still it would only. Save you a couple of euros. And prolly doesn't outweigh the safety issues of large amounts of cash.

Take the bus. Runs every 15-20 minutes, almost as fast as a taxi (city is a trafic jam anyway), drops you at Kharkivska metro (right when trafic gets dense), and still costs only like UAH 50.

BTW, if you call a taxi, it's still the old prices 30 grvn for a ride in the center and 150 grvn for borispol. I use optima taxi.

Since I will be there for more than 2 weeks soon it's a bit long time not to go to gym.

Hylton hotel has a good gym, but its very expensive, best gym to go to, and its free has to be the outdoor gym complex at hydropark, all the weightlifting equipment there is homemade, for example, car engines, huge pieces of metal and chains etc, all very safe and easy to use, everybody there just gets on with it and gets on with there workout, its a different experience, and of course you have plenty of girls to look at while your at it. Just take the metro a couple of stops to Hydropark. Red line couple of stops from maidan.
