I might just add two pointers; 1. Look at the background in their photos. Non working girls usually have a "normal","usuual","everyday" like background. 2. I had no luck with VK although I invited many girls to chat. Mamba and SeekingArrangement did work for me, quite well actually.

I have bee to Rio Club and seen that they have two floors with strip. Up at the bar, with 2 pooles, and a room inside with tables and 3 pools. There is also a stip room at the lowest floor.

However I heard that there should be 3 floors! Where is the third floor?

I'm sure immigrations can ask to see your ticket, that would indeed be annoying.

All the Swissport rep needs to track my baggage is my baggage claim stub, which has the ticket number, baggage number and baggage scan code on it. The Ukrainian Swissport girl asking for my eticket was just Soviet silliness. In any first world country you would hand them the stub, they would scan it and everything they needed to know would pop up on their computer screen. Thanks to Air France I got to be a pro at delayed luggage in Kiev.

As weird as it can be, as nonsense as it appears, you are still supposed to be able to show a print print out of your e-ticket. Sad but true. This might apply at some immigration booth, for instance In reality the print out shows references (helpful to track itineraries and other data) usefule for baggage tracking and other purposes. As a minimum precaution I always have a copy of the e-ticket in my smart phone calendar (txt file) and often I have a file in the PC (less practical, I admit) either a scan of the print or a pdf of the original email.

the worse experience was air chance (france) delaying my luggage (twice) and then having to deal the local swissport agents. i think both times it took me three days to get my checked luggage. one time the girl asked to see my ticket. i told her i had an eticket, she said she needed to see it. i told her, what are you crazy, it's an eticket, here is my baggage claim stub. she asked to see my eticket again and i told her to stop being silly. that was the end of it and she processed my form.

immigrations has always been very polite to me. the only question they ask is where you will stay. i stay in apartment, so i always say hyatt, they write it down and off i go. go always to the lines on the leftmost, those are for foreigners without visa needed. air france lost my luggage 3 times. the process to report lost luggage is slow, maybe 30 minutes and many copies of forms to sign. you better have a local phone number and know your address, as they will bring it to you. they give you a form with a phone number for you to call and check on your luggage, and it actually works. then it is customs and one machine to scan luggage. just walk by it, don't stop unless asked. don't look at them. just pretend to be talking on the phone and walk at normal pace, they will not stop you. if they do, they are very polite and they really don't want to give you a hard time. when they saw an iphone and an ipad in their boxes they asked me 'you are taking this back with you, right? ', inviting me to say 'yes' and that was it.

these people's bark is worst than their bite. they are serious and may appear intimidating, but they melt at the first smile. that was my experience with all in ukraine, even cops.

last week i was in a taxi going out of kiev some 40 minutes. the taxi driver had no idea where i needed to go and did not speak any english. i don't speak russian so i called the party that was waiting for me so they would give directions to the driver, and passed the phone to him. he was on the phone, distracted and did not stop at a zebra line with people crossing and other cars stopped at that point. he realized that and stepped on the brakes past the zebras and a cop signaled him to approach to the curve. the driver still had my phone to his face, lowered the window and although i have no idea what the cop asked him, the driver pointed at the phone as in 'sorry, i was distracted on the phone', so the cop signaled him to continue his way. aparently being distracted and almost running down a bunch of people because of talking while driving, is ok. the drive had a valid excuse lol.

taxi taking me to the airport at 5 am, passed d'lux and other clubs where people were starting to leave, a mile after that there was a bunch of cops stopping everyone, supposedly to check if they come out of the clubs drunk. he stopped my driver, he lowered the window and the cop asked 'are you drunk? ', to what my driver simply said 'no'. (the driver translated this later to me). so the cop signaled him to continue. amazing.

It is easy. In the Search "Location" box, it probably lists your home city, whatever you gave as your city in your profile.

Just click on the drop-down menu and click on "Select another city", it will then list a bunch of cities in your state or country.

But at the bottom of that box is "Back to regions", click on that and you get all other states / provinces.

Then click on "Back to countries", and THEN you finally get to pick Ukraine from the drop down menu and then you will go to oblasts, then cities.

Usually the most popular choices (Russian, Ukraine or Kiev, Odessa) are listed at the top of the menu.

Dear Cruiser, when I travel to Kiev, I experienced controls of my baggages and questions about the present I bring there. Is this a normal procedure for other members here? Of course I manage these controls paying USD 20 or 50 but is not nice because is time consuming and my contacts are waiting for me
