Hotel is absolutely green and no surcharge / fee. I went upstairs with my guest right in the full view of receptionist and the security people at least twice every day. Staff was very helpful and cooperative and speak reasonable English.

Very central location – next to Buddha bar and 10/15 minutes walk to Patipa and Arena.

24/7 poker club next door is a blessing. They have a 24/7 bank with very competitive rates and bar and restaurant. Please note that rate was very good for USD but not for GBP. Bar and restaurant are expensive considering that it is a casino. Casinos in London are much cheaper.

Cons.

Cheap rooms (my room) was crap. Old and dirty carpet and substandard furniture although facing the khreschatik street.

Lobby Service.

They have WGs in their lobby. I saw them on three nights out of four. Look very professional and do not hesitate to approach you. One of them was OK so decided to give a try. She asked for USD100.
