I was in Odessa for a couple of days during a business trip to Ukraine. I stayed at the Londonskaya Hotel, very nice 4 star and not so expensive. When I came in at midnight there were three-four pros at a table by the lift. There seemed to be the wrong side of 40 but acceptable quality.

I went to the x-club one night (all taxi drivers know where it is), okay but more expensive that ones in Kiev and private dances kind of average. Did not appear to be any sex on the premise.

Other than that, there was not much available on spec. If visitors to Odessa are expecting to be hit by girls from all sides in the streets and bars they'll be disappointed. Most seem to book ladies via "marriage agencies" which are not really my style.

I have been to Kiev in winter time and had not much time for freebies, but in Yalta especially in summer it is great fun. Lots of dve's, many students from univercity. Easy to score with freebies. I even found a girl who would stay with me for free just to spend her holiday in Yalta (from love. Mail). We met in front of Mcdonalds. She arrived with her friend Alexandra and I chose Alexandra (19 years old blond, too thin, but fit). She is a GFE but talks too much. Sex was so professional. Was in x-Club about a year ago. Although small with a single dance stage, a small bar and some lounge-like couches, it was actuially quite ok and a nice way to pass the time, but I am quite certain there is no sex on the premises and if you want to take home a girl it could be tricky. You'll have to either talk to the management or to the girl directly. I didn't try. The "management" seemed to be a slightly fat woman (mamachka) watching the bar and stage and a dark-looking guy (manager) by the door. The goon-like flatheads standing by the door have nothing to say, they are only security (okhraniki).

The club is located outside of the center in a pretty dark and gloomy area, so do be a bit careful. I can't remember the address, sorry.

There have been reports about saunas, but I have never been there. Maybe taxi drivers can help you? But pls read all the old threads about Odessa, there is some information there.

I spent some hours a night about a year ago in X-club. It is rather far outside the city and I paid a lot to the taxi driver (50-100 hrivnas, I don't remember exactly - and the same for the way back). The club helped to arrange transport back into the centre).

It is a rather nice, modern club with many girls, some very good-looking. They go around and ask to dance for you at the table for 20 hrivnas. I had been fucking a lot in the evening before I went there, so I was "rather relaxed", and I did not ask for sex. However, it was not obvious that this was a possibility. I got a phone number from a girl, when i called the next day, she did not answer...

Manhattan is a strip club right in the centre, it is a smaller club, the girls are not impressive. I have been there 3 times, and every time there was a gem among the girls. The girls there are for take out if they themselves agree -. and usually they are not interested. The price is USD 300 - 400 for the night, I guess the same is for X-club. But a girl from Manhattan whom I met the following afternoon (then it was cheaper, because the club was not involved) told me that most girls practically never went with customers, and if they did it was only if they were in big lack of money.

I expect the same is the case for X-club. Strip clubs can be fun sometimes, but if you look for pussy, Dina mamasan may be your best choice)

Just returned from Odessa. Couple of observations.

1. Ibiza/Itaka have the worst male to female ratios of any place else in the city on weeknights. Packed with girls on weekends. Girls cannot afford 40 grivna covers every night, unless they are tourists visiting from Russia, or have money and or rich sponsors. Foreign tourist men on the other hand pour in droves, since we have nothing else to do. They get approached a lot and get big heads. So why try to meet them there if the city is full of girls in other places such as the beaches / cafes / streets / boulevard. Weekends are a lot better, seemed much better ratio overall.

2. Quite a few foreigners and many among them are very well dressed Italians / Europeans. I think it goes a long way in Odessa being dressed well and projecting a healthy and wealthy look.

3. Don't eat anything from the street, especially the street vendors selling Shaurmas outside clubs in Arcadia (I know it's tempting at 7AM), and don't drink water. The food poisoning you will get can be severe and last for many days. This happened to me and to a friend of mine last year. I was told the food is safe at paid beaches (Riviera and Arcadia). The food is safe and excellent for the most part in major restaurants (Steakhouse, Kumanetz, etc)

4. Avoid making connection through Borispol airport. I've travelled a lot and seen it bad, but it doesn't get worse at Borispol.

5. Went with OdessaApts - very good service, will go with them again in the future, thanks for recommendations.

All this is quite accurate, just to point out:

Odessa is quite a turistic city in summer and there are are quite a lot of EU tourists too: Girls are accustomed to dealing with foreigners though most of them do not speak anything but russian-ukrainian!

Forget the Arkadia area for mongering if you haven't got a good command of the aforementioned languages.

Girls cannot earn big money as commented on previous mails, but they are generally decent and well educated... please do not play the yahoo by offering them money in the streets or bars if not approached by them (which is not common at all!). They are more for a serious relationship than for adventure... and they are not stupid, they do not expect a serious relationship from a visiting stranger.

Go there and please enjoy yourselves but do not expect bargains or desperate girls longing for a foreigner to take them out of there. Life is cheaper for locals than for us tourists, so with USD 300 a month one can make a decent living.

A tip: With taxis UAH 30 can take you to most places... do not pay more!

main streets are the Derivasovskaya and adjacents around the Opera: Classy and expensive. being touted by girls there is all but an urban legend!

Buildings can be deceiving: Quite a dilapidated outer appearance but the interior is usually well furnished. Appartments are usually good.

Paid sex: The port area where the customs office is located. Usually medium-low level. Standard rate is USD 100 for two hours. Best on weekends around 9:00 PM local time. There are also some appartments known by taxi drivers... not too impressive. Rates as above.

Just found this site in time for my long trip to Odessa (from LA) in a few days. Many thanks to CA Traveler, Dr Skank and Ash for your great reports. That's definitely helpful stuff.

I'm a Brazil veteran (PM me if you want info), but it's always a search within the P4P world in Brazil to find slim women with the "disproportionately large breasts" I so desire. Hence, the jaunt to EE with a few buddies.

I rule, I paid 15 grv for a taxi ride back from River Palace this winter.

If someone quotes you too high a price simply go on to the next taxi - there are a zillion in Kiev - except for NYE and when it snows heavily.

On the other hand some taxi driver tried to screw me on the way back from the train station to Madian. I was picking up a dyevuska from the provinces and I told her to ask a cabbie how much back to Madian. I think she misunderstood me because she was in awe of my incredible good looks. She just asked the cabbie to take us to Madian. We got to the McD's and he was like 100grv - I said I don't think so and tossed him 40grv (I still overpaid by 20grv). Grabbed the girlie by the hand and left the cab. FYI - the going rate from Kiev center to Borispol is 100grv.

IT - MT is old news, she was slightly above average (her oral skills are way above average) back when she was fresh - about 3-4 years ago. Stick a fork in her now, she's done.

If you're not up to a simple negotiation with hairyass taxi drivers in Odessa then the girls there will eat you alive. If you manage to find a girl to come home with you, freebie or otherwise and you can't be strong enough to stand your ground for what will only be a half second negotitaion or 50 metre walk having read all the advice in this forum then you may as well put "sucker" on your forehead. You'll be a marked man for the rest of your visit.

My advice would be to practice your manliness on those ugly fuckers until you are ready to take on the lionesses den!!!

If you are paying more, you are to lazy or intimidated to bargain. YOu don't need much Russian to negotiate, if you know the basic numbers, you'll be fine.

I agree seems a really incredible price. When the cabs are trying to "fine" you outside RP, and it's KIEV, not Odessa... (and you have a nice blondinka like MT ) they ask (still three months ago) for 100 Griv....
