So far I tried 2 stripclubs, 3 erotic massage parlors and visited 4 places with escorts.

1) Stripclubs.

I tried Axis and the Office.

- I was not happy with Axis. Entrance is 100 UAH. You are asked for lapdances or lady drinks every 5 minutes. I took 1 lapdance for 400 UAH but the girl kept her knickers and ended the dance before the second song was over. After my refusal to pay for a lady drink the waitress gave me the bill without me requesting it, a way to say that I should leave. The athmosphere there was not very friendly.

- The office: entrance 150 UAH. Lapdance 400 UAH. Promotions: expat night on Friday no entrace fee. On mondays lapdances at 300 UAH instead of 400. No sollicitation there. A rather good athmosphere, smiling staff, the girls seemed happy to work there. Pleasant experience. Only one stage, and maybe 6-7 girls only at the same time.

2) Erotic massage parlors.

VIP massage: the most expensive one. When I called a guy named andrew answered the phone, he told me it was 1200 for a 1 h30 massage with 2 relaxes + 500 more for 1 more girl. Turns out it was 1200 for just 1 hour + 600 for one more girl. The girls were pretty, between 7 and 9. There were 6 girls avaible. The massage is fully nude. I enjoyed but it's very expensive.

Chaoyang massage: a good place, went twice. The menu is 400 for basic massage, 650 for double relax, 1 hour, + 100 for a second girl, 1000 for 1 h30 massage with 2 girls champagne and lesbi show.

The bad point is that massages are not fully nude, just topless. All the photos on their site are real.

So the first time, there were 3 girls including 2 petite 20 years old hotties I would rate 8. So I took the VIP massage with champagne, for 1000 UAH, it was great.

Second time, there were 4 larger women in the late 20's early 30's. I would rate them between 5 and 7. I just took the basic massage with 1 relax and paid 500 UAH.

Drakon massage: 500 for 1 hour with 1 girl, 700 with 2. Fully naked. The problem is, I called 3 times and each time there was only 1 girl. I went once and had a great classic massage and good erotic ending by a thin brunette I would rate 6-7. I will go again when they have more girls, if it happens.

3) escorts.

I tried natasha escorts, but looks like there are only "salons" registered there. And many profiles have "verified photos" which are in fact fake. I visited 2 places and wlaked out because the girls were old or ugly.

But from my experience, the level of beauty of the girls is proportional to the price. If you pay 600 UAH for a girl don't expect better than a 5. If you pay 1000 you can expect a 7, and from 1200 even a 8.

I met 2 of these 1200 girls and there were indeed 8's maybe even 9. The problem with escorts is that maybe 20% of them speak english so if you don't speak russian you will be unable to set up a meeting.

Most of the girls are in Arkadia. So my advice is, if you want to get quality just don't be cheap and filter out those under 1000 UAH.

There are thousands of beautiful women there, and even more so this year because Ukrainians are not traveling abroad on holiday like they used to. They are however, going to Odessa.

If you postulate that Odessa is over hyped, that's fine. It's likely your expectations were not realistic, or the girls were not into you. It certainly isn't expensive especially with a weak UAH.

You definitely won't get quoted these prices to Arcardia from the Odessa airport. There are always people approaching you outside of arrivals. I was there a few weeks ago & they quoted 600 to Arcadia from the taxi stand outside! I asked them if the transportation included a helicopter ride. I negotiated it down to 300 & I was speaking Russian. Of course it's always better to call for a taxi anywhere in Ukraine but I didn't have an unlocked phone to get a Ukrainian sim card. Anyhow, as a foreigner always expect outlandish quotes for taxis unless ordered by phone and make sure to count your change when buying anything from a market or kiosk. Also got stopped by three Ukrainian police men walking through Arcadia one evening. They were looking for my passport but more importantly looking for money. I didn't have either!
