Actually my plans are exactly the opposite of yours. I'll be in Kiev from about 9-11/12, then fleeing south to Odessa ahead of Eurovision

So if it all works out nicely, we can leave reviews here for each other for the 2nd half of our trips!

I've been stalking this section for a while now as I'm heading to Odessa in May and then up to Kiev for the Eurovision. I'm glad to see that the info in the Odessa section is building up.

My usual haunt has been Dubai. Anyone looking for Ukrainain women will find plenty there.

My plan of attack is a mixture of dates from several sites and a few preselected escorts as backups.

I am presuming that mid May will be too early for the beach scene but you can expect a full report from me upon my return.

All known bases will be covered but any research mission requests from other members will be gladly undertaken.

Yes its true that starting prices for average types may be lower, in the $40 to $50 range for 1 hour, than Kiev, that's still for 5's and 6's, and with easily
visible higher quality in the neighborhood, its difficult to ignore that fact and settle for average.

Once you get to the next level, and as soon as the escort services and taxi drivers know you're not a local, then prices aren't lower anymore, and can actually be higher than Kiev, since Odeca is a travel destination for the dyev's also.

So the key is, as anywhere, make friends with a local, and he or she will push and insist that you get local prices. Even at the discos and clubs, get
someone to set up your introductions, and then you don't have to worry so much about your esteem.

Finding something else to do there isn't as easy to do if you're not there for business, during down time, very difficult to get dyev's interested in morning/afternoon sessions, so be prepared to kill and waste two thirds of your time, unless its summer and you hang at the beach. That makes it tougher to hang out for more than a week or 10 days, which really only is scratching the surface of what one might find.

Maybe the key is forcing yourself to sleep all day and waking up at 4:00 in the afternoon every day, then you can "work it" to the wee hours every night in disco-club-land. Its probably the best plan, since its close to impossible to arrange for "room-service" earlier than about 5 or 6 PM, and then the disco action only gets going after 11PM. The vampire life!

I see that the Odessa forum seems to fall into a winter-sleep and that is a real pity because the beauty of their ladies doesn't at all.

I hit Odessa for business in October and this March and, counting on the support of my business partners, could get a good insight of the place in different seasons than summer, and in different locations than Arkadia.

First, Odessa is the closest to a melting pot they have in that area of the world. It is a port city with many nationalities. This gave rise to a particular Odessan pride that makes them feel Odessans first, and only after whatever else, Ukrainian or Russian or who knows. Moreover, it is the capital of humour within the Russian speaking world. They adore jokes and the 1st of April is a real celebration there, like Carnival elsewhere.

Odessans believe that their women are the most beautiful in the CIS countries ... meaning practically in the world. Having left my unexperienced teen-years a while ago -) and having already looked around in places like Moscow and Kiev many times before -)), I can say with the best of my cool blood that their opinion can be shared at 112%. I am sure it is due to the melting pot.

So what happens in winter? They have discos and they go to discos. Places to remember are Palladium, Jo and Cafe-Bar 23. I was not at Palladium, that's the most expensive disco in town and the ladies' attitude is said to be a little bit ... overproud. What I tried is Jo on a Saturday night. Jo was believed to be the best disco in Ukraine not long ago, with people coming to Odessa from many other places just to hit that dance floor. Well maybe those being familiar with Moscow discos will not be shocked, but the place is OK. What is shocking is the statistically absurd density of top-beauties that populate that floor. E-ve-ry in-di-vi-dual fe-ma-le being that appeared there between 10:30 pm and 2:30 am was worth a book of pictures and a recommendation letter to some upscale model agency in Milan, Paris or New York. I dived into a maelstroem of high butts, long black booted legs, round faces with big lips and slightly orientally shaped eyes, perfect manicures and flat naked stomachs. If somebody ever heard about the Stendhal syndrome (when Stendhal visited Florence he was overwhelmed by the beauty of art masterpieces and fainted from shock) he will know the name of my disease that night -)

Now I understand why local men treat them so roughly, it must be a sort of compensation, if you follow your instinct and adore them as the goddesses they are, they will simply grow their self-esteem too high and males will soon be turned into their powerless slaves. Treating them roughly is the most effective way local men have not to succumb to their overwhelming attractiveness.

Action at Jo was interesting till 3 am, but the girls' attitude was not the same you will find, say, in Minsk, they seemed more interested in dancing and liaising with their friends than making contact with strangers in the night - like the one I definitely looked like and was. You actually need an excess of self-esteem to find the courage to approach girls of a level that in your own country would make them accessible only on the pages of fashion magazines or on TV screens ... but you can rely on the law of large numbers: since EVERY girl that will show some interest will be more than OK, and the place is packed with girls, IF you get one yes from whoever THEN you'll have a top model at your side for a while.

A thing to consider is that, unlike say in Moscow or Minsk, men there are not absent or ... unapplicable. Again, Odessans are different.

I was able to make contact with a lady that, in that paradise of potential models, could be judged just average (which means anyway more than OK on this side of the former iron curtain), in half an hour she could be driven from the first hallo to almost sex on the spot, then we moved to Cafe-Bar 23 for late action, this is an underground disco-bar that was still packed at 4:30 am when I left.

The girl, BTW, although not saving any energies on enthusiastic DFK and related activities, did not feel ready to join me in my hotel room immediately. The perfect occasion for that would have been the second date (usual and understandable situation after all), but this was not to be scheduled, I left early the following afternoon when, obviously, she was still dead in her bed, and, obviously, I did not postpone my flight back for her :-)

So my final recommendation: visit Odessa whenever you have an opportunity. People are nice, prices are lower than in Kiev, there is an international airport for easier access, and girls are something that deserves a visit even for the most experienced WSG traveller ...

Hope I didn't steer you awry, that was where I remembered girls being. The streets I mention are close to tamoshny ploshad (around the corner) and the girls I saw when there weren't that far down close to the port, but rather up the street a bit closer to the corner. May have just been the night.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Actually I find it refereshing to find Ukrainian and Russian girls can still say no!

Obviously there is no 100% solution to our dilemma, which makes the hunt more interesting! Nonetheless, I still heartily recommend Arkadaia to anybody headed to Odessa in the summer. Was incredible there.

Because there were already some hours after the post quite a lot fellows to ask me two seemingly important information, i´ll provide them now for everyone:


1.)

Sauna: See scan of their BC.

You´ll have to negotiate

1.) the price - please don´t - under any circumstance - pay them more than 40 Euros / 250 Gr. for each girl and at least 2 - 3 hours work.

The average income in Odeca is 100 Dollars (85 Euros) a month.

The girl will get 20 Euros, the mametchka (souteneur, pimp) 20 Euros.

That means: If the f... with you, it´s already the average salary of 1 week work.


2.) don´t ever pay any more than 20 Euro for the sauna (2 hours). Anyway, you´ll consume some wodka, champagne and butterbrod (sandwiches), so they will be happy you´ve been there.

3.) VERY IMPORTANT: you have to tell the sauna people very exactly what kind of girl (girls) you are looking for AND what they must do, like e.g. 18 - 22 y.o., bj, bbbj, grupowucha (groupsex), ftrajom (threesome). otherwise - if you don´t do that, they will definitely provide you with maybe not too young / too good looking girls eager to eat and drink, some but not to suck, blow oder have sex with you other than on a one-to-one basis.

In other words: Tell them very frankly what you desire BEFORE YOU ORDER, and you´ll definitely get it.

If you don´t, they will not do it (because they will use the "argument", that they were not these type of girls ....)


2.)

Bolschaja (po-ukrainski: "belika") Arnautska, the street from the center to the "highway" leading to Kiew.

But, as mentioned before:

You´ll find Odecas ugliest girls there.
Cheap but i´d say with a high HIV-potential.

I highly disrecommend.

For paid sex I recommend:

1.) TOTCHKA at the harbor (see next report with photo)
2.) Call a girl at your hotel or if you don´t feel comfortable about that in a sauna
3.) Call a girl via a taxi driver (beware that the younger the taxi driver are the lesser their knowledge about paid sex)


I disrecommend

1.) Ask girls you see on the street ("ti rabotaesh?") if you dare - this question means - "Do you work ?").
I tried this a dozen times, and even if they worked they provided first the false information they didn´t

I may say, that I spoke to some girls, some adressed me but

Ukrainian girls are not all the sluts some of us take them for, it appears to me.

250 Griwna for 5 - 6 hours (which is 40 Euro or 8 Euros / hour).

They won´t do anal sex.

This is the main street form Odeca to Kiiw.

Standard pricing is

50 Gr. for a BJ (this is about 8 Euros), 60 for Sex (9 Euros).

But really, I found the girls there disgusting.
Narcoman (drug addicts), drunk or just ugly or both or all three.

c.)

Other places:

NOTHING.

Believe me, I sincerely followed all advices given in this forum, especially from Dr Skank, which I aprreciate very much and had given him maybe useful information for Kaliningrad, where I was last summer.

But: Pushkinskaja and Primorsky Bl. , there is absolutely nothing there.

Police has tigthened up and I saw lot of controls everywhere, but at the harbor.
