if you visit Yalta, you will not miss this guy who badly plays the guitar and sings English Pop. His name is Ronen. He pretends to be an American from Miami, but he is Israeli. This guy is nothing but trouble. He is chasing young girls, as young as 15, and can get you in real trouble if you are seen with him. He also chases mothers walking with their children, and their husbands would often make a big scene.

The guy is quiet charming, in his mid 40s although he claims to be 35. I befriended him and got into trouble. I do not want to reveal the details, but you can get the message.

2 years ago I was at the closing party; not so exciting, because it was end of August, which means, end of holidays for students.So it was not so busy, and a bit chilly already.
So I decided last year, to attend the opening party. And I did.
TERRIFFIC !
Search on youtube for "opening kazantip 2009", adn you will see (me, maybe,too).
So this year opening party again. Sorry for you,that you will miss it :-(

Having spent a long weekend there, I can confirm that beyond hanging out at the local pizza parlour, there's sod all to do. Girl-wise I mean.

The botanical park they have there is lovely though, and you'll find plenty of lovely girls walking around in very little in summer time. They'll usually be with their boyfriends or their family so not the best hunting ground.

On the way back to Kyiv, stop by Cherkassy. Yes it's a bit of a hole but there are a few 'decent' bars and the girls are friendly

If you review my previous posts, you will get a clear picture of my miserable experience (as well as western friends) in this SNOBBY place called Yalta. It is full of stuck up rich men and women and they make you feel unwelcome - it has even become dangerous lately, a few westerners got badly beaten.

I agree with the fellow monger who replied to you, better go to Evpatoria.

I imagine it would be very easy to hook up if you sepak a little russian and are under 35 by going to the nightclubs. Most of the party girls look to be 16-20 so even 35 might be stretching it a little.

Yeah, sponsoring probably would be one way to play it, but the girls were fairly average and someone on the kiev thread defined sponsoring as about $2k, which is one of the reasons that its not worth the hassle.

But i really reckon basic russian and being under 30 would get you almost any girl you want.

Know exactly what you're talking about. Met the DJ on the train out to the provinces, and he invited me to the exclusive klub on Saturday night for his show. Long drive out to the suburbs at midnight. Only the richest young people were in there, so my plan to waltz in and waltz out with some little spinner/sponsorette didn't go according to plan, because probably every girl that was in the place already had more money than I did.

These were the girls that party every night until 10 in the morning, and then sleep until 6PM.

All the guys in the klub were under 30 also, if I hadn't been invited by the DJ, they wouldn't have let me in. You'd have to be an oligarch to score in there.

Lots of hot stuff, I got none. I might have been able to scratch up some interest, if I was offering $400 or $500 to one of the go go dancers, and to wait until 5 AM when their shift was done, but that's just too rich for my blood, and I have no energy left at 5AM anyway.

So disappointed, I slunk off into the night, resigned to my lower station in Ukraine society to find willing poor white trash sponsorettes in the $120 to $160 range, but I love them much better than the flash & champanski crowd anyway. Bez will always be a man of the black earth onion and potatoe eating watermelon growing people, kommisar for the proletariat.
