I spent several months in the Uke over summer and went more or less straight to Luhansk, mainly because I understood Luhansk, though not much of city scenically or otherwise, was full of beautiful young willing women. I wasn't disappointed. I had been using a dating site called charmingdate.com and made contact with many girls over a period of months (prior to arrival in the Uke).

Ah yes, I hear you say, so many scams. But there are many genuine girls and you need to advertise yourself as 'looking for fun' and add a few gf personal attributes that girls everywhere like. To be sure, there are many scams and the pictures are often very heavily photoshopped but you soon learn to distinguish between the real and unreal. It takes a lot of time and effort and is well worth it. You pay a lot initially in contact costs (website chat, letters etc) but it can turn out to be remarkably cheap once you arrive because I find the real girls don't really ask you for too much. Aso it's away from Kiev and Odesa where the girls are different.

You smell a rat when the girl starts asking for money while in correspondence or wants to meet you at Kiev airport and needs the cost of the airfare etcetc. It's important to state in your profile that you are looking for fun, and that you will be coming to the Uke soon. That makes your intentions clear and you will get letters from the right girls, not the ones who are looking for the whole package, so there is no unnecessary deception and emotional disappointment.

I found the scam often involves bogus agencies who use the photos of a girl and write all the chat stuff and letters themselves. Sometimes the girl herself doesn't even know that is happening, or she does know but receives a small % of the takings. You arrive at Kiev airport and find you are suddenly forking out large amounts of cash for scam amounts of costs including interpreters, transport, hotels etcetc. Don't do it! Arrive cold.

So I arrived in Luhansk 'cold'. I knew no-one and had no contacts and stayed the first night in a hotel central city. I soon discovered it better to rent an apartment as you have a good deal more privacy (by the way, a crash course in basic Russian prior to arrival in the Uke is a great help to success in a city like Luhansk). I proceeded to contact one or two of the girls, which I will relate later. I found it helped to contact one or two of the local English language schools (university included) and offer voluntary English tutoring. It helped a great deal in making useful contacts and wonderful hospitality. I also had a business card made up with my address, dished it out at supermarkets and everywhere else, and quickly found the girls knocking at my door. Luhansk is amazing, there are beautiful sexy girls everywhere in the streets and elsewhere. I will relate my sexual adventures in Luhansk as well as Odessa, Kherson, Sevastapol, Poltava, Zaporizhia and elsewhere. I've been living in Lviv for a while and this is my experience:

As a foreigner, Lviv can be challenging for both pick-up and p4p. People in general are a bit more sceptical to foreigners and even Russian speakers might experience resistance. Also, prostitution here is not nearly as common or open as in other cities such as Kiev in particular. That said, it doesn't mean Lviv is absolutely dead. It just offers more of a challenge, so it might not be the best place if you're in a hurry.

Conclusion: As initially mentioned, Lviv isn't the best if you're in a hurry. Personally I prefer spending week-ends in Kiev with a cute sponsorette or the occational high-class model type escort.

Is of course also an option: It's not what it used to be since they removed the 'offering sex for money' tag, but look for young girls wanting to meet guys up to the age of 60/80 is a sure sign, but this require planning some time ahead. Approx $100 + taxi seems to be the regular rate.

Misto: 10 minutete by taxi (50 UAH) from center. Big club, many girls. 200 UAH for private (promo) , no takeaway. PS: Camera in private rooms.

Rasputin: 10 minutete by taxi (50 UAH) from center. Small club, few girls, very local establisment. 200 UAH for private, takeaway possible for 50€/hour.

Zansibar: 10 minutete by taxi (50 UAH) from center. Still to be explored.

I've gotten phone-numbers from girls in all of the above, dated several, but were mostly scared by how most looked sober in daylight.

According to some other reports there's supposed to be some truck-stop motel outside the city, but why pay an extra 2x100 UAH for taxi for some 3rd rate, cheap babushka.

I'm about to head out on another long trip and will visit Lviv for the fourth time. I've never had any luck in this town. Maybe it's because I'm usually there in the middle of the winter, but combining my lack of Ukraine / Russian language with what I'd call the "dour" attitude of the people there has always made it hard for me to find action.
