Hi,

I need some recommendations- I thought of visiting Ukraine Crimea in Aug. I have no experience with Ukraine yet, although I visited Russia and other postsoviet republic few times in past. I would like to spend time at some nice, clean seaside; I am mostly interested in freebies (I am normally looking 30+ guy) , but pros and semipros sometimes do fine too.

I read some informations on the forum about cities like Simferopol, Sevastopol and Yalta - but I didn't make a decision where to go so far.

Would anyone give me some up-to-date recommendations on the cities, places to go, hotels to stay, things to avoid etc?

I speak some russian and considered driving my own EE registered sportscar, but there were some reports that scared me somehow abour crime and carthefts - is it really so dangerous there or maintaning some common sense would make such trip reasonably safe?

On my previous trips to Russia I always had good time and felt comfortably safe - but we were usually guided by some local people, which would not be the case this time.

Would advise that you have alarm fitted that has a visible light flashing this does act as a deterent, also you should park in one of the many security car parks (6-10uah per 24 hour period).
Hotels in Sevastopol, you might just struggle but there should be apartments to rent (try the railway station/bus station).

Donetsk

I was supprised by the overall good street and real estate condition in Donetsk. Everybody appeared to have a fair standard of living. Hotel Atlas is situated centrally and it has attached to it sort of a Shisha-Bar/club. On weekends there is a DJ as well. People seem to take Atlas Bar as a base to start the nightlife. It is never crowded and certainly one of the higher class places in Donetsk night life for the mature Yuppie sort of crowd.

Overall I have never seen so many woman without men, They walk around in groups at night and daytime. Some of the girls were stunningly beautiful. During my 2, 5 day stay I have probably seen a handful drop dead beauties that would normally only gather in milano during fashion shows.

I was traveling alone and would say I had 0 chance to hook up with one of those girls. Nevertheless, I did have the feeling to get some attention again in disco clubs and bars. A feeling that I have been lacking in western european countries for quite some years (I am 40). To my impression girls are outnumbering guys by 70/30% in the clubs!

I have observed 3 Italian guys, all mid 40's, who have been trying to get into contact with girls at Atlas Bar and later in "Virus" disco club with great ambition. They approached the girls in a typically italian manner. It was funny to look at. The girls usually did not even look at them and would chase them away like nasty flies.

Being lazy of sitting alone and being ignored in the Atlas bar, I decided to check the local Stip Club scene. There is one Table dance club within the disco club "Chicago". It was open, but you can forget about this one.

Next was Club Africa, which is just a couple of hundred meters away from Hotel Atlas. That evening there were 3-4 girls dancing. They were nice to look at, however, I was not used to the habits in ukrainian table dance clubs. With each customer coming into the cub, the girls come on stage one after the other and have a little dance. After this dance, the girls come close to the customer and expect a tip of 20 Grivna. Since I did not have so much change (Grivna) with me I gave the girl only a 10 Grivna tip. She was so pissed off. That she actually returned the money to me. *LOL. Thereafter I decided to give another club a try. Close by there is the table dance club Tallin. Small club with something like 7 very good looking girls. Same procedure, all 7 girls would have a dance for you and will expect 20 Grivna tip. So before you actually chose one girl you will have to pay 140 grivna. Drinks are not expensive for european standards and you can sit with a girl and drink a bottle of champaigne. Advantage here is that the girls speak basic english. So I figured it is my only chance to at least speak to any ukrainian girl while being in Donetsk. I spent the evening with one 20 year old, beautiful girl from the suburbs of Donetsk. She was looking sort of like Cindy Crawford in young (really) and we had a nice time, including some private dances. All together I did spend something like 200 € that evening. The girls said they are not allowed to meet men outside the club, nor are they allowed to exchange numbers or any other contact information. They would get real trouble if they would do so.

When I came back to the Hotel at around 4. 00 am, I decided to have a look at Atlas Bar again. It was Saturday/Sunday night and there was a group of 3 girls and 1 guy sitting a little bit drunk in the clubs designer furniture.

When the girls saw me, they asked me to join them. Apparently they were a little bit pissed off by the guy they had with them but did not know that well.

One of the girls spoke basic english, so we could have some conversation. Finally I was sitting inbetween two beautiful ukrainian girls in their early 20's. Both perfectly styled, both equipped with Iphone and designer fashion, but apparently no professionals. The girl to my left sort of looked like Angelina Joly She appeared to be interested in me but did not speak any english. Since the bar was closing down and it was already 5 am, we did call it a night. I was able to hand my phone number to her, but she was sort of disappointed to see it was no ucrainian number. I was leaving Donetsk the same day.

Taking together, I would say there is no professional scene, since there is just not enough tourists or business men around. On the other hand this gives you some chances with normal girls, but you would need to have basic russian language skills or you meet the needle in the heystick who speaks english. I have been in Donetsk end of June. Donetsk has 1 million inhabitants and there is still a lot of girls around who are not in Crimea.

I will go back there for job and will enjoy the club scene. I would not go there especially for mongering. But quite frankly. I never go somewhere for mongering purposes only.

Very authentic local flavor. A 90 minute drive to the northwest from SIM or or SEV. Local girls and low class tourist girls range from average un-interesting up to sweet and lovely and up to ultra incredible. And unless you make the mistake of trying to talk to some drunk jealous Ukrainian guy's girlfriend, they are approachable and likely available. You can find accommodations, but they get booked in August so you might pay higher prices, and you may only get what's left over. Cold showers, very primitive, and not very cool at night, but it is authentic. Hot girls too.

You car would be safe parked inside the car park of the motel at night, and they will pay a guard to wacht them at night, but if you use it in the daytime to drive to some of the remote beaches, they will try to break in.
They can't help it, there's nothing else to do there.

Nope! they get national passports at 16! ie ID passports! to travel etc its 18 without parents signature! so they are not legally a adult till 18!
They may look it but in the eyes of the law no they are not.
And i am in the know!

Decent Ukrainian girls are not offended if you offer them money, so its not a problem, just ask away. If they don't want it, they'll just say no, without any offense taken.

Anybody has information about street action in Simferopol and Sevastopol?

I got info on this forum about following locations: near Hotel UKRAINA in Sevstopol and around train station and bus station in Simferopol.

My problem is: how to identify the girls in question. To German standards almost all girls are dressed extremely tarty (tasty) and would easily qualify for prostitututes in our country. But how to approach them, if you are not sure, which version you see? Pro or non-pro? I guess it could be embarrasing for both sides, if I would make a direct offer to a decent girl!

Then, after having identified one, what is the customs over here. Can I have a quickie on the back seat of my car (it is spacious)? Or a blow job would also be fine. How much would I have to spend? Im my country it is rather cheap. (less than 50 EURO, depending on quality of girl and location)

How about age limit? Is it same in Ukraine as in my country, which means no problem with law in case girl is 16? I fancy rather young ones, any specific location, where I can find them?

Anywhere around the train/bus station at night, no Russian language skills!!!! Be careful and carry a copy of your passport the police in Simferopol enjoy asking for documents!
