Last Saturday I visited LSS. When I went in, about the middle of the afternoon, I was the only customer. After I had sat for a while, eyeing up the girls, a few other guys came in.

Everything was normal, clean and tiydy. I choose Cat. Cat gave a good massage and did various positions. Cat was good in the room, but had to resort to the hand eventually.

I gave her 7 on my scale, all things included. I am still looking for a fit athletic strong girl who can get on top and bring me to completion in that position. Any sugestions are welcome.

'fess? You mad? There to use the facilities and if your in a massage I'm pretty sure they will have a warning to let you know to get decent. Your not doing anything wrong so why tell them anything. They need to prove you were doing something wrong as you are innocent until proven guilty.

Its a harassment thing and they will keep on doing it until someone in the government puts them in their place. Shut the saunas and you will see issues develop and do the police really want that? Its a game they are playing and until we find out what it is that they want we will be stuck in this mess. I don't think they want it shut but I do think the chief is trying to [CodeWord140] over the last police chief's efforts to control prostiution after the mess Glasgow did with thier patch.

Shut the saunas and then the red light areas took right off again with the drugs and other criminal activities. Traffiked and all sorts and its still happening over in the west where as in edinburgh it is was reasonably well controlled and policed. Maybe he didint like being shown up that he couldn't run it in his patch so hes making sure that it don't work anywhere else. As for the UK? What about Manchester and Leeds they have an active sauna scene and it runs well enough. And the police are happy with it? So its not the government they turn a blind eye so its your local plod here thats stirring it up.

Went there yesterday. 3 girls working all very attractive. Picked Claire. Service same as always. Asked about newspaper report and they just didn't know the outcome but didn't seem to worried. Nothing has changed since my last 2008 visit.

I think there's a lot in what you say HornyScot. The Strathclyde bunch have jumped on a bandwagon hoping they can get public outrage on their side. They prosecute the law, damn the consequences. That's their excuse. But it could go in any direction. I think we have to wait and see.

If he makes a point of raiding them every couple of weeks that tatic will backfire on him. Its called harassment.

As for stopping trade. He can't do anything to those in the sauna. They are not breaking any law of the land by being in there and I'm sure some lawyers will be able to generate a case out of excessive stress caused if someone is in there and it gets raided etc. As said if hes trying to stop prostitution then he they need to look at the wider picture and sort out the issues that generates the environment that promotes a boyant sex trade. And since man came about there has always been a sex trade. WAKE UP. Get it legalised and treat it as you would treat any other business and have it licenced and controlled? Like they did do. What actual issues is there with the sex trade in Edinburgh just now? What is it that they want to stop it for? Could it not be the fact that the money changing hands annoys the establishment. Its not being spent on a taxable revenue stream and they hate that. Can't get their grubby paws on it.

It looks to me like the new chief of Police Scotland has allowed his new unprecedented powers to go straight to his head. If he was an intellectual he wouldn't allow this to happen. He must one of the pseudo thugs that we've all met, that pass as "policemen." His room temperature IQ has not stood in the way of being in charge of the police. As someone else pointed out, it looks like "Strathclyde ya bass." All very worrying.

From what I've heard this guy is going to close down all the saunas if the appeals take a long time he's going to raid all the saunas every couple of weeks to discourage punters and eventually punters will be scared off and saunas will close due to lack of business.

It is a troubling time to go through and I think its a case of them flexing thier muscles and trying it on. Remember the police don't make the laws they just deal with the law. And the Edinburgh situation has run for long enough and its well known. The issue in Glasgow was money. The saunas over there tried to pull a fly one and not pay the operational charges that the council wanted so they were turffed out. Glasgow has quite an active flat secene and this changes rapidly so its out of control as far as the police are concerned. They now go onto other things as well its not worth the hassle. Edinburgh I think will continue as is. The police will be told what to do and this new guy will be put in his place. Thats not happened yet but it will and it will go back to the way its always been in edinburgh. A controlled environment where every one exists in peace. Saunas service the need and keep the girls off of the streets. The police come down hard on anything outside and the kerbcrawlers are managed.

I've used a few saunas and would say in all those times I've never had any issues with the owners or the staff. I've not seen any drugs and the girls seemed to be well treated. Putting it back to the streets will just make more issues for everyone and they won't stop prostitution. No matter what they have tried no one has managed to kurb it. So hell knows how he thinks he can.

Best thing would be to legalize it and allow it in amanaged and controlled environment. Ensure the girls are safe and it doesn't upset the neighbours or the residents of this city.

It's a complicated definition legally and does not in itself imply coercion or anything morally abhorrent. Even so, as I said. 150 police in umpteen raids and still they found no trafficking. Now they want to justify their exercise and waste of police time.

the (strathclyde) police are spouting bollocks. they've already admitted they found no evidence of trafficking or **** girls either. they found viagra, condoms and fancy dress costumes. nothing illegal. 'living off immoral earnings' is illegal and that's what they want to prove, irrespective of the damage it causes or that it reverses the long-held and effective attitude of tolerance that edinburgh has successfully used for many years. they simply want to impose the glaswegian attitude on edinburgh. this topic has a very long history and i'm guessing you are unaware of it btw.

back on to the purpose of the forum. all the saunas are currently still open for business. they are a bit quiet as mongers don't want to risk the embarrassment if the new-and-surly police pay a visit and question them outside. it is police intimidation but very unlikely that any customers will be charged. they just want to hassle people.

the next stage will be when the appeals are heard. this could drag on for months. with any luck, the judge will back the status quo. the edinburgh tolerance is best for the girls (gives them access to social services, health checks) , fighting crime (the saunas are regularly monitored in an unobtrusive way) , residents (keeps the girls off the street) and simple human kindness. it's also best for mongers of course.
