Watch out for some of the outcalls (i.e. girl visits you). I called Scruples (also have a sauna) and explained that I like a young slim girl to visit my hotel. Not a lot to add to previous reports - just got back from 2 weeks in Edinburgh - tried out Blair Street Sauna.

Had to wait for quite a long time as all the girls were busy, but maybe this is a good sign!

Eventually had a great time, half an hour with a stunning German girl. I did find 2 things slightly unusual though :

1) If you book half an hour, you have to stay for the full half hour, you can't leave before that time (not that I am complaining !)

2) They only ask you for the money afterwards.

FWD: This is a repeat of a message I posted on the Scotland board but figured that it might also be relevant here. Sorry for the confusion!

Noticed that there isn't a recent (post-Feb 2003) update on street scene in Edinburgh, so just thought I should update the group. I think a previous poster said that the "tolerance zone" located on Salamander Street in Leith was shut down. However, there are still some girls working down there (never more than 3 that I've ever seen; girls tend to work on Salamander between Constitution St. and Seafield Place two blocks down towards Portobello; as well as Assembly St., Elbe St., Salamander Pl., and occasionally the fringes of Leith Links) and the local residents committee is keeping a vilgilante campaign (harassing girls; protesting on streets at night etc.). Plus the cops are really clamping down hard on anyone who seems to look like looking at a girl.

So all in all, it's pretty dead and not worth the bother. However, if the SW scene is your thing, at least you know your chances.

PS: There was talk in the papers about trying to close the saunas as well - we'll see whether this happens after the local elections here on May 1 / 03.

BB: The closest parlours to your hotel are not necessarily the best. Blair Street and London Street is about a 20 minute brisk walk away and well worth making the journey for. Scorpio's is 20 minutes further.

You will be best advised to stick with the parlours recommended further down the board with the caveat that standards of service will vary between the ladies even at these establishments. The good news is that poor performers are in the minority though they do exist and good performers abound.

My favourite is Carol's in Easter Road where I've had some really excellent experiences over the years.

Edinburgh has some of the hottest sauna/massage action going after London and Manchester. Its cheep, cheerfull and usually of very good quality too.

Generally u will find that OWO is a normal practice and £60 to £80 should cover you for most things.

London Street sauna- Basement and sub-basement flat converted to a sauna. Can get very busy and you may have to wait for a room but the girls are HOT and willing to please. If your new you will get a tour of the place and it procedures, they will make you feel comfortable and welcome and you can spend as much time as you need to there.

Blair Street sauna- Probably the very best of the best in the selection of quality girls.

Scorpio sauna- very friendly, not the best selection of girls but some absolute crackers and great time to be had.

New Town Sauna- choice of either stunners or total dogs, had both and think i have just been lucky to get GFE every time i have been there.

Club 7, york place- As good as it gets, just opened and trying very hard.

Theres loads more but theres only an outside chance of getting a experience to remember so check em out and let us know how u find them.
