Hello Troyster, you do not have to worry too much in London when girl comes to your hotel. If you are staying in 5 star or 4 star hotel it is much less of an issue. They will register a girl after calling you on internal phone line to make sure that you are expecting her. If lift have key card you can go down and get your girl. Most of the time they will not bother as long as long girl looks decent. Agencies also are careful about safety of their girls. When you tell them hotel name and room number they will call and check. As far as I know in London hotels there is no such issue as red or green as we call it in Dubai.
Most of the time I go down to receive girl in the lobby. I confidently walk to the lift with her and not on a single occasion people at reception asked me to register a girl.
