I took a casual walk around Soho yesterday (just to get myself familiarize with the place and get comfortable with the environment).

On Old Compton St (next to Greek Steet), I saw a very inviting shop, with name SEX SHOP (image attached) and was very curious to know what's going inside. On entrance there was a big man and he told me that entry fee is 300 pound for a 45 min show. On asking what all is available with 300 pound, he said "everything". I am really curious to know that what is exactly going inside. Does anyone has any idea about this shop and what happens inside? Never heard of 300 pound entry fee.

Otherwise, I found Soho to be very nice place to hangout. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Very diffirent from what I had in mind. I had a diffirent perception when I read that this is the red light district (or amsterdam on London). I was expecting street hookers on every corner. But in real it looked very normal. Just like any other place in London. I was there between 8-9 pm. I am not sure if the scene changes late at night. I could also see the 8 and 52 greek street with signs "model inside". Was short of time, but will try any of these model house next time and will give my reviews.

Because usually, those guys let you in, and then ask for the money once you are inside. Of course nothing happens inside in terms of service. And if you want to leave you find yourself surrounded by a bunch of large men threatening to break your neck if you don't' pay.

That sounds about right for the established clubs, if you want something cheaper (bare in mind the women will be rougher) check out The Victoria in Hayes and the Woolpack, also in Hayes. They are near where you are staying and will range in price depending if you go for a private dance (£10-15) or just sit and watch in the open, where its usually a £1 tip per person per dancer (per dance).
