No disrespect to Jbourne1234, but I tend to be wary of the type of posts from new posters that start with, 'Has anybody heard of so-and-so / know if so-and-so place/provider is any good.' They are often just touts trying to lure people. And even if they are not, they can't be taken as a reliable source of info. (Who/where, exactly, did the original poster 'hear' it from??) I never read anything into a request for info other than that it is a request.

The club in question is just outside of the notorious clip joint area of Soho basements (where extortion with threats of violence is not uncommon) so might be ok. There's some info taken on face value here.

I'm wondering if I've maybe been there a few years ago - security on the door but not like the 'come-insides' of the clip joint. Place I went to was horribly expensive but seemed legit enough. Didn't detect any extras on offer. If Jojosun knows his way around then great for all of us.

Well until Jojosun reports back, or anyone else for that matter, I can only add my "intelligence". Capricorn is a hostess bar. I haven't been myself but was told by a mongering acquaintance some time back. Apparently it's not nasty/aggressive/clip joint style at all, but still, not cheap (I can't be specific as I can't remember what prices I was told, and anyway it was 2 years ago).

As a non-member you will have to pay a membership/entrance fee in all likelihood.

Of course, I imagine once you've bought a nice bottle, the management will leave you alone in a private area, and there's every chance of some limited action if you pay the girl...and you can pay more and take her away if she's willing.

I am intrigued though....never been to this place, or The Gaslight Club. Considered it many times....seems similar to the Geneva clubs I have experience of, though you can openly shag in most of the "cabarets" there, which I imagine Her Majesty's boys in blue would not react well to if they found out it was happening on premises here!

Have to agree, to generalise that 80% of AW is scammers is incorrect. Yes there some, much like any business, and just the nature of this business might attract more than normal. However having used the site for over 2 years now, can safety say have only had 2-3 which were a dissappointment, and have only ever walked away from one meet. If you do your homework much like the excellent information given by Christopherherd below, you will find a lot of good girls. Also try to use the reviews mentioned on other sites.

It used to be a great "finder" site but since the massive influx of people from certain counties into London it has changed dramatically. Also most of the so called "field reports" in there are put up by the guys running the scams. This is not guesswork. Maybe on your one or two visits a year Europunter you found ok punts. Try Adultwork now and like I say. You have an 80% chance of someway getting ripped off. With all due respect Europunter, bearing in mind that you only visit London once or twice a year maybe it is yourself that should do the homework, please don't take that the wrong way Europunter.

I'm sure Rob you mean well, but I hope you won't take it personally if I point out a couple of holes in your post - and my comments, like yours, are based on experience.

Firstly, Adultwork is VAST. One might similarly say, don't go to a (certain) metropolis - it is full of scammers. Or, don't eat Chinese food it is full of MSG.

The sheer size of Adultwork means that it is full of everything. Just like London. The attraction is that, if you are good or lucky at sifting through, the prices are much lower than agencies. Not everyone can afford agencies.

The situation in London, with a large number of working girl migrants, may be markedly different to the rest of the UK. But even to take a representative sampling would probably require more punts than one person could do in a lifetime.

My own experience with Adultwork is good. Out of more good experiences than I can count, I have had only two bad ones (both with non-locals). But I am not suggesting that as a representative statistic either.

Here's a few (admittedly arbitrary) 'tips' for newcomers to Adultwork.

1. If it looks too good to be true, there is at least a reasonable chance that it is.

2. If the girl has written an interesting and personal profile, and/or her 'interview' demonstrates thinking choices, she is a better bet. If her profile is full of generic phrases like 'your wildest dreams,' 'the best time if your life,' and so on, decorated with hundreds of smileys and explicit language, remember a lobotomy is no guarantee of good sex. Be wary of playboy-type photos with exhortations to spend money on 'her' private gallery. Remember every girl is different. In addition to assessing reliability, check her 'enjoys' list to see if it matches what you want.

3. If she's living in London, be even more careful. If she tours and has a professional website as well, this may be a plus sign.

4. A lot of high end professional escorts, sometimes with their own website, advertise on Adultwork as well. It's nice to have quality, organic food, from a local shop, but who can afford to ignore Tescos?? Adultwork is the main supply chain, the national highway system, it's the 3G data download or the GPS of service providers. Saying it's bad is a bit like saying the Internet is bad. But yes, there are massive amounts of unmoderated rubbish on it as well, so it's only for those that put in time and skill in selection.

5. Adultwork is fast. It has the best search facilities of any adult site. But it's run by business morons who have zero interest in the game of mongering itself. You are on your own. No sympathetic moderator or helpful agency manager (not that all agency managers are helpful lol). But it's cheap. You can book a girl for half an hour and see if she's any good. Once you know, you can go back on another occasion and book her for longer.

6. Try to speak to the girl on the phone or at least exchange emails. Girls have to pay to advertise their number so it shows they're serious. But bear in mind students may want to economise or just do it part time (not all girls who say they are students are - far from it - but some really are). If you don't have any telephone skills, and start emails with, "Do you do anal?" - forget it. You can also dig a ditch for yourself if you ask her things she has taken the trouble to clearly explain on the site. Or if you use stereotypical language ("My name is John." "My brother told me about you." "I've only got ten quid." "Can I have a discount." "Do you see lots of guys a day." And other ways of saying, I have/am a big cock.)

7. Girls can see if you have multiple identities. They can also see if you've made bookings with other people and cancelled. Decide on your persona and stick to it. Get a few positive feedbacks from girls under your belt, it helps to show you're genuine and not a complete tosser.

8. Differentiate as far as possible between genuine feedback and dodgy ones. Has the guy giving feedback posted feedback on a lot of girls or just one? Does his persona seem well balanced and fair? Do you see a picture emerging for a girl that seems credible? Feedback is not a reliable way to assess a girl alone, but it shouldn't be discarded. I usually leave a few nice comments for any girl who has particularly impressed me. Forum feedback (as opposed to FRs), whether on here or P/net, has advantages as it can be challenged - but use the same denominators in assessing credibility. We get the occasional nutter, tout, or cheerleader even on ISG.

9. Does she offer bareback? Unless that's what you're into, warning bells should perhaps be sounding!

I am of the opinion, based on my experience ( I live in London since 20 years) that AW is an excellent source of providers. Of course, scams and Rippoffs exist, but any average experienced punter will be able to separate the bad form the good. And I never ever paid for the private galleries. AW allows you to localise the girl of your dreams, the services you want, the time you want and the location you want. Suppose you want a pregnant girl in Chelsea, search for it, you may find her. Or a busty Japanese women in Islington ..etc...

Anna's Angels has a reputation as an agency that pretty much delivers the services listed. That said, they sometimes get a little overaggressive with the Photoshop treatment on the web page.
