Yep, agencies can get pretty pissed off if they think customers are circumventing their fees and seeing the girls on repeat visits for less. Girls may work for several agencies (technically freelance) but still won't want to be dropped or badmouthed if the agency ever finds out. I have had 'private' contact with agency girls in the past, including one long-running almost-relationship where we negotiated a virtually non-existent fee.

But I recommend against stealing the girls' number without her agreement. One of the protections of working for an agency is that the girl can refuse to see a client again if she doesn't want to. If she wants to see you again it's unlikely she'll have any problem giving you the number. But she may not want clients to have that number at all (many girls have two phones / may not want calls outside of the hours she's agreed to work with the agency each week), may not want to see you again anyway, or may just not want the agency to think she's never available and hardly gets any repeat bookings.

If you get on well, just ask her if she would mind you making a booking direct with her and not paying the agency fee. It's a simple yes/no question, and won't make her life any more complicated than she wants. Which is what might happen if her number gets out without her consent. She can also turn you down gently if necessary, which might otherwise be difficult if she feels a bit intimidated by you (physically/culturally or whatever). Getting & calling somebody's private number without their consent is basically stalking.

In my experience, the absolute Playboy-looking 10/10 girls are 'fit but they know it' and can be a bit mechanical unless you can make some sort of connection. The 7-8-9/10 girls are often genuinely lovely (and normally look just as good as their photos, allowing for less make-up etc.) and will make an effort with anyone they sense is a decent guy. Some of these places skirt the line between agency and parlour. Walk-up parlours (brothels) don't interest me (I have a total aversion to meeting other mongers 'on the job'), but I have no problem with the flats which only take bookings and have different girls on different days. These girls often only work one or two days a fortnight (they have real jobs. In offices, nursing etc.) and are just freelancing to make ends meet. They're very good if you like more chatty, friendly girls. Independents are sometimes girls who also appear on agency books, but also take their own clients (I'm sure 99% foreign girls also working as independents speak good or fluent English). Or they're out-and-out freelancers; usually British or at least resident, usually very nice people indeed, very professional, only see one or two guys on the days they choose to work and put 110% effort into a full-experience (drinks, nibbles, decor, lingerie, toys, etc. Etc.). The main Punterlink contributors are at the 'high class' end of the affordable independents (Dollymopp, Eleanor Aston, Mei Yi, Josephine etc.), any of whom would be a fantastic choice.

Adultwork is seen as the cheap end of the market, and if you look around it is true. But that only applies to price (not necessarily quality). Of the many excellent girls I've met from there only two were not worth repeating. And even they have both had good reviews from other guys (before and since). Just be careful who you choose; read the profiles in full, and be wary of anyone whose pictures look like they've been stolen (all very pro/photoshopped, and all from the same session). I don't see anyone from here unless I've seen their face and scrutinized their photos and profile. Also take note of the ratings, and stick with girls who already have good reputations until you begin to get a feel for the occasional profile which looks a bit dodgy. AW is still my first choice for picking a girl, but I will call an agency if I want a last-minute appointment, if I want a stunning young foreign girl, or just want to book quite late. Some agencies can take same-day bookings right up to 2am, whereas some independents will ignore you or even take offence if you try to call outside 10am-10pm (ish). I avoid profiles without phone numbers; AW providers have to pay to show their number, which shows a slightly higher chance of them being 'legit' and I hate all the unknown waiting and deliberating when you're sending emails.

Other Independents:

Google "London escort" or "London courtesan" and you'll find a number of girls with their own (often very classy) websites, charging anything from quite decent rates up to daft Elliot-Spitzer style $10, 000/day minimums. One of my favourite girls of all time is a drop-dead gorgeous English blonde who charges £500/2hrs and is also a fascinating and accomplished young woman. But it's hard to justify return visits when you can find somebody pretty who still pushes your buttons at a third of that price. Also, there is at least one independent I know of who. While she's a nice person and I had an okay time. Could be sued for misrepresentation (gorgeous pictures of a slinky 20/30-year old Indian fox, in reality quite saggy and could be her mum). Setting up your own website is quite a hassle, so these girls are usually trustworthy in that respect. Just try to see 'through' the photos; ignore the make up, costumes and lighting, and try to gauge body mass and actual features to avoid a disappointing surprise.

Yes it's true, some of the girls you can see stuffed & spit-roasted in the finer end of the DVD store are available as escorts. The PSE is not really my thing, but I have seen one before: she was absolutely sweet & gorgeous in the flesh, and we talked for hours. I get the impression that many of these girls are just great girls, but a few are quite hardened (and may even look a bit leathery) with a very mechanical service and think they are honestly worth twice the price of someone prettier, sweeter and easier to please. It's exciting to make a booking with someone you've admired, but don't spend a fortune. You can get as good (or far better) for your money.

Local papers:

Check the Yellow Pages or free press for local 'massage' or 'adult services' adverts. Some have websites but most don't. I won't usually book without seeing pictures first, but I have done so several times overseas. Quality is very variable; Two thirds of the time I've been unimpressed with looks; one third of these plain girls can be jolly friendly people and a good time / one third will be a bit rubbish in all departments (I don't like offending people or sending them away), and then the final third of the time I have found some complete gems (very pretty too) and have booked return appointments with them. London is packed with hotels, but the quality & price varies even more than the girls. And as with the girls, price often has very little to do with quality. I live in London and prefer visiting girls on incalls (girls often prefer this too. They feel safer, prices are cheaper, and I feel I have more freedom and discretion), but I have used a few hotels. If you're pushing the boat out, the Cumberland in Marble Arch is excellent (£120+/night www.guoman.com). I found their receptionist quite arsey and the room a bit small, but clean and swanky with an incredibly comfortable Queen-sized bed, decent bathroom, and Gary Rhodes' brasserie downstairs. There are others (Sanderson etc.) whose prices go a bit crazy. Not worth it unless it's a girl you want to impress and you've booked the whole night. At the lower end, there's nothing wrong with Travelodge or Premier Inn; cheaper but still quite anonymous. Bear in mind that you want the anonymity of a large hotel/chain if you've only booked a short outcall, but if you've booked an overnight with somebody (and wouldn't look like an odd couple if seen together) then a small hotel would be fine. The Harrison Gastro Pub/Hotel (£80+/night, www.harrisonbar. Co. Uk) is clean and great for the price. There are girls around the UK I'd like to see, but I've gotten to the point that I would now prefer a hotel that suits my budget/needs, and go and see the girl myself for an incall. It's cheaper (even with taxis, compared to an overnight booking), and I don't have to think about where I'm staying. If I'm spending any more than that or want a longer booking, it's actually MUCH cheaper to go abroad for a bit of sex tourism (with all the added benefits of a holiday). Transport:

Back on topic, visitors to London should not worry too much about getting around. Rules of thumb: #1. If you're staying for a few days get an Oyster card from any tube station (also sold at some newsagents & post offices) and put £10 or £20 credit on it. Bus & tube journeys are cheaper, and the card will never charge more than the equivalent daily travelcard if you make a lot of journeys on the same day. Expect £5 a day if you're using the tube a few times, and no more than £3 if you stick to buses. #2. If you're only in London for 24/48 hours and don't travel much, use cabs. Black cabs are fine for very short journeys in Central London (expect £6-7 for a 10 minute ride). If you're going further and can't use the tube (I never use the Tube in rush hour) get a minicab. Addison Lee (020 7387 8888) have a fleet of smart mini-cabs which charge quite reasonable rates based on distance alone, making them far cheaper than black cabs even if you get stuck in traffic, and they can usually be with you quite quickly. If you can't use them for some reason, call a local mini-cab office (just text "HOME" to 60835 for the numbers of licenced local minicab firms) and use them; they'll be with you in minutes, and are all regulated and quite safe these days. Just make sure you book the cab, or walk into an office and ask for one. NEVER get into a mini-cab that is touting for business; it's illegal, and there's a chance you'll be mugged or worse. The last time I got a minicab from Zone 4 into Central London it cost £20 (about 9 miles), against £30-40 for the same journey in a black cab (even when there was no traffic). If you've got an appointment in Barking (for instance), get the tube to somewhere nearby and then walk or get a minicab (minicab offices are usually right next to tube stations).

One other thought that occurs to me, for guys passing through London and staying near Heathrow/Gatwick. Remember that agency girls can get a bit irritated if they have to dress/get ready and travel halfway across London, almost always losing a bit of money on the cab-fare, and making them unavailable for incalls when they're travelling. Either tip them really well (tell them you'll sort out their travel costs at the start) or book someone more independent/local to the airport (via Adultwork, or Google "heathrow escort" etc.). I've seen several lacklustre reviews where the girl has clearly just been tired/pissed off, which you won't get with someone more local who is used to doing outcalls.

Even a quick glance on the internet will show you that there are far more agencies and independents than any other city. I'd even suspect that London (being far more international than Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds etc.) has at least as many girls as the rest of the UK put together. In the 18-30 age range anyway. It also has a huge choice of hotels (at all prices) if that's your situation, and a level of anonymity you won't find even in many other large UK cities because their 'action areas' will usually be concentrated in one or two parts of the city. To be fair, it's true that London's massive edge is mainly from the sheer numbers of East European / Asian girls, but there are plenty of stunning born-and-bred girls too. I'm not suggesting you can't find a great time anywhere else, but pretending that other UK towns/cities are better than London in terms of numbers/quality/access/prices is like suggesting to somebody who works in the stock market that he should move to Burnley if he really wants to see some FTSE action.

BSM23, I humbly suggest you consider spending at least the market rate for a 'first time'. Even if you go on to a long and distinguished mongering career, the first one should set some sort of standard since you'll always remember it. I'd also recommend a 2hr appointment to give you both time to relax, and expect to pay £250/300 or more with either an established freelancer or one of the better agencies (with girls who can speak fairly good English). Quite decent hotel rooms can be had (last minute) for £50+, or just go to an incall (which girls usually prefer anyway).

My answers to your other question would be. Don't worry about when escorts are busy or not. Unless you're looking for a brothel experience, freelancers and (good) agency girls rarely do more than 2-3 appointments a day (some swear it's less than that) no matter how busy the phones are, and I've never had any problem getting the girl I wanted. Unless you leave the booking until literally 1 or 2 hours beforehand. Girls have told me that Monday/Tuesday can be a bit quiet, but most girls have also told me that there is no pattern day-to-day (it often surprises them). It's only when they look back over the month they can really say whether it was busy or not. Even at times you think would be quieter (school holidays etc.) some girls with families take time off, so it evens out. Freelancers and part-time girls usually make their working hours available for you to see, so it's nothing to be concerned about.
