i went to look at soho for myself today. i couldn't believe what i saw. the place has really changed. no more walk-ups around peter street, berwick street, etc. - they've all been closed and boarded up. completely dead.

this is one example of how gentrification can ruin the character of an area. i never actually went to one of those walk-ups, but i used to love the sleazy atmosphere of those streets, the feeling of "temptation" i'd get from walking past them, etc.

Lady Marmalade's residence is in Marylebone, and you get the exact address only when you have made a booking. They will ask you to call again when you have reached the target area - Baker Street station for example, and they will give you directions from there.

Of course, once you have attended a party, you will not forget the venue ever again!
