If you want a good Indian restaurant, I can very highly recommend Lahore One on the East India Dock Road, its opposite McDonalds. Food is absolutely fanstastic !

Thanks to all the advice given regarding strip clubs in the Shoreditch area.

With some extra time on my hands one evening, I decided to go and check out the scene on this side of London.
I have never been there, so took the tube and landed at the Aldgate station. For some reasons the Shoreditch station was closed that evening, so I have to walk a little.
Turned out to be quite a good walk up the Whitechapel Road and then on to Commercial Street.

I did come across a strip bar on 19th Whitechapel Road, Sam's Bar. It has exoctic dancing neon sign by the door.

I decided to call it a night, prominsing to come back next time to explore this area further on my hunt for more strip joints on this east side of London.

Shoreditch Strip Clubs

To the left of Browns (coming from Liverpool St.) there used to be a small strip pub called The Spreadeagle.

The last time I was in the area I walked into what I can only describe as a ghost pub - the whole place had been gutted yet there was nothing to stop you walking in from the street. What was going on? I have to say it wasn't much worse than when it was in full swing, only fewer punters and strippers.

If you run out early, and you want to stay, they have a 'Heavenly Money' option, where you pay by card and they give you vouchers which you can use in place of cash, only problem is that you will have to pay 20% extra.
