I will be in London on business next month and I was hoping that some of you might share your knowledge and wisdom. Because the pound is so strong against the US dollar, I was hoping to keep my fun below 150 pounds. Is this possible? I have no idea how these work or where to start. I have seen Soho mentioned, but any specific street? Is there another location like Soho that offers walkup service? Anything or place I should avoid? Generally there are three types of professionals in London.

1. Escort Agencies

2. Phone Box girls

3. Street Walkers

1. The Escort agencies can be found by searching on line. Although they look different, many are under the same ownership. So be wary of any misbehavior. As usual, respect goes a long way.

You choose a girl on line and call and speak to the agency. Often they will want you telephone number and wish to call you back. If you are insistent and do not want to give your number, they usually accept this and you will have to call back whilst they check the girls availability.

The price can be anything from £150 - £300 an hour. Most of the girls are good professionals, not watching the clock and you will have a good time. About 70% will do BBBJ if asked. This has been the safest and most guaranteed method I have found in London.

If there are particular requests, I will post a dozen or so URL's to some Escort Sites I have used.

2. Phone Box Girls. Any pay phone in central London has these and they are changed every day or so. You call and get a description of the girl (who is hardly ever as pictured in the phone box Ad.). They give you the address which is usually a private flat with a maid. A variety of services offered most of which will be discussed on the phone first. Expect to pay £50-£100 per shot.

I agree with you on many points. SM is much safer than Soho.
Walk-ups are great when you're in the area, don't mind being seen walking-up, and have time. However, some people are still afraid to say "no" or are fearful of walking away if they don't like what they see.

At least with the internet these days there are options to see the girl before you order, and of course especially with 1 other UK site you can usually read about your intended conquest before hand and decide if the performance is what you want. Vive la difference.

Shepard's Market is a great mongering area. There are more than 4 places. There's about 75. As to the "hit and miss issue," also like Soho, you can knock the apt. and see the lady and if you don't like what you see, walk away and shop the next walk-up. Walk ups are always hit and miss. Sometimes the phone cards are better, at least that's my experience. But better still, use your laptop, or go to an internet cafe and browse sites like www.academygirls.co.uk or scandalbabes.com, select your girl and part with only 150UKP for a good hour. Still pricey, but in my experience, compares well with US.
