And good looking chics try to ask for a premium. Price wise this place becomes like Morocco. I assume since the old dictator left a whole lot up to a 100.000 exiled Gambians returned with lined pockets to gobble up the good looking chicas for marriage. So good looking gambian chics are trying to charge a premium. Since the economies of Liberia and Sierra Leone are improving no fresh chicas showing up from these countries. For quality and quantity go to Kenya.

I haven't been outside of Gambia yet. I was seriously contemplating Ethiopia as I like the body type but I have read some bad reports so I changed my mind. I'm doubting now between Kenya or Madagascar. Probably will be Kenya, Mombasa. I like beaches and the flights from mainland Europe are significantly cheaper. There is one issue that does worry me though. In contrast to Madagascar there is a high HIV-prevelance in Kenia and it is skyrocket high within the population of sex workers but I am protecting myself. I'm using PrEP.

Came back a couple of weeks ago from a 12 day visit to The Gambia. My second. Action is indeed mostly to be found in Time Inn. From midnight onwards many girls go to Britannia and Time Inn starts to empty. I'm sure you can score in Britannia between 1 to 4 am but I believe most 'working girls' go there for fun rather than business as when I was there there was a crowd of 100-150 Africans and I was among the 4 non Africans I counted. FYI, not every girl there is working.

Before the action starts at Time Inn you can usually find some girls in the bars close to the junction of the strip with the Bertil Harding Highway also some young and slim if that's your liking. If you come from Time Inn walk towards the strip. Don't enter the strip but cross it. Immediately after the junction you will see 3 restaurants next to each other. Salt and pepper, another one and Tejo's. There's usually one or more girl inside or outside seated at a table. Especially if it is a table placed in front of the actual restaurant.

There's one girl in particular I can highly recommend. Her name is Rita and she's from Sierra Leone or Liberia. I found out about her through an expat who visits Time Inn on a weekly basis. He's done most of them and knows who he can recommend and who not. Rita isn't my type: she's a mature, not fat but plump and pear shaped. And although she's had 2 kids she doesn't have the 'emptied balloon bags' African women with kids often have. The other one was an amateur model I 'befriended' on Facebook. Didn't pay her because I don't think she sees herself as a hooker. Think she wants to marry a foreigner. Sadly, I can only agree with Neddy. The club scene in Gambia seems to go downhill very fast. Basically, it is limited to three clubs that are next to each other: Britannia, Time Inn and Binnys. Some of the girls there are in such a bad state that you almost have pity for them. To avoid those places I ventured further afield to places like Aquarius and The Big Apple but have absolutely nothing of interest to report from there.

Surprisingly, I have read some positive reviews of WOW and Binnys in the past. Nowadays, these places are absolutely dreadful. I wonder what has happened in the last couple of years.

Last night I was about to go home at 0230 but then I saw a good crowd in Britannia so I took one for the road. A red hot senegalese broad smiled at me. WTF. Slim Killerbody. Braids down to the ass. High heels. The tiny ass stuck in jeans hot pants. She danced and gyrated in front of me for an hour or so. After an hour and a nice chat she lost interest and I didn't even bother take her number. Useless. Plenty of guys paid her glasses of red wine so my outlay was NIL. I am doing ok. I have the luxury of time. But don't waste time to go for girlie hunting in clubs. That scene is finished. Tagged and Afro is yielding good results for me. As for pulling chicas out of clubs IMHO forget it. I know better as the clueless package tourist most chicas are after these days. But the party factor in Gambia is approaching ZERO. And the tax on domestic beer went up from 10% to a whopping 75%.

Easy Time Lodge.

For 2 weeks is stayed in ETL for 5 days. In the meantime, Jason has had his apartments redecorated and some things repaired.

Their was no problem with electric, the generator turned on after a few minutes, when electric was gone. Price per night was 25 Euros.

The rooms where cleaned every day, just Sunday the gal has her day off. Simple lodge, but clean and girlfriendly!

Don't make the mistake to book something in Banjul. Banjul itself is a small city on a peninsula. There are ministries, the Parliament, State House, etc. No nightlife at all. The place to be is outside of Banjul city along the coast where the tourist hotels are located, E. G. Senegambia Strip or Palma Rima Road.

Off-season is end of August to beginning of October. Many restaurants and aparthotels are closed during that time due to the lack of tourists. However, restaurants along the Senegambia Strip still remain open and the Times-Inn bar still gets a decent number of visitors during weekends.

Thanks for your reply, think I've got the gist of most things now and feel a bit more confident about travelling out. Will hopefully get some flights and accommodation booked shortly, and will report back on any venture I do make.

Right thanks. One last piece of advice; for money is it best to exchange in Gambia? My flight would get in in the middle of the night, would there be an exchange open at the airport at that time? Or should I exchange a little here so I have enough for at least a taxi to the accommodation?

Just wondering if anyone's got some up-to-date reports on it? Also, do you need to specify to the guy that you'll be bringing girls back or should I just ask for a more secluded room?

Sorry to be asking questions that have maybe been asked before, but this whole forum things is new to me and a bit confusing so just hoping to get some straightforward, up-to-date information. So I'm looking to travel to (The?) Gambia soon, primarily for this hobby, but hopefully there's some other things to do if any of you have any recommendations. All this high-season / low-season stuff, could anyone clarify these times, will it be dead during November? From what I gather, it's around 30 Celsius most of the time, is it sunny most of the time too, specifically November again? Location wise, flights would be to Banjul, is the the place for girls? Senegamiba, Serrekunda, Kololi have been mentioned, are these suburbs of Banjul or their own separate settlements, is there a 'main' area for girls, the 'strip' has been mentioned but not entirely sure where that is if anyone could please help? Accommodation wise, people seem to suggest apartments over hotels, but all the girl-friendly ones might be booked. People on this thread seem to recommend staying in apartments- various ones have been mentioned. Someone said Patta Patta has girls in the bar but I don't know if that means they can stay there. Hopefully you will get more answers- this is something I want to find out more about as well.

There are girls in most bars. Of course the strip is where the action is & most of them congregate at Time Inn after midnight. Getting an apartment maybe difficult for a week or two in November. The owners usually like to rent by the month. I looked at some nice clean air conditioned chalets near Kotu beach called Kunta Kinte bungalows. Does anyone know if they are girl friendly? I went to have a look last time I was there & was impressed with the quality. I had a girl with me & she said there was no problem bringing girls there but she had a vested interest. Has anyone stayed there with girls?
