    Girl Friendly Hotels

I've never heard of any girl friendly places to stay in The Gambia the guest houses and Hotels I've stayed in don't allow guests. Some will let you bring someone in if you pay a hefty fee I don't agree with it but its their the rules.

    Girl frendly hotels

Any one? Do any one know where to stay while in Gambia?

Sorry; it`s not a good idea to book in advance; i made that and all was broken.

Book a flight, spend the first night in a middle class hotel and look by yourself or ask a taxidriver or waiter in your restaurant/hotel.

NEVER EVER AGAIN: Bokking a "compound" so called the hollidayapartments from the europeans; in the outskirts on a littering area, nothing works, all is primitive and many owners are women; so only the bed is in a good condition.

But you can try Dandymayo Apartments; i saw the rooms o.k. but for using as double round about 60 bucks per night; no long term discount.

    Enjoy "Clean Gambia"

    Gambia

    Ohhhhh; DDW

I'm back since 2 days from gambia; you have forgotten to tell us that the country is destroyed like germany in 1945; all the locations are far away from each other; everytime you need a taxi. I never saw that in a tourist area. All is dirty; nothing works in that country; and the accommodations I can accept are so expensive and then you must have luck to have energy. And your girl? Really a woman or a cut pussy so only a black machine. I'm very disapointed about gambia; I only would come back if I would find a nice apartment and 24 h energy; sorry about that I spent there my vaccation.

    O. K. ; the atlantic is great there; but the beach.

    Cheers

I recently visited Gambia for the first time. This is an account of my experiences, hope it helps. I chatted online to Tom3108 before I went, so thanks to him for valuable advice!

I stayed in the Kombo Beach hotel. The hotel is ok - 3* I would say as the rooms are a little basic (you have to pay extra for a tv and a fridge!). It’s in Kololi which means a taxi ride to the action in Senegambia and no passing taxis other than the tourist ones who are always there but more expensive than normal cabs, so not a good location. It’s also not girl friendly.

May seemed a good time to go as is very much low season. There weren’t many tourists around, the hotels being about a quarter full. The weather was still superb and rains were weeks away. I don’t like it too crowded so this time of year appealed to me, but with fewer tourists around, the choice of girls was reduced too, although there were still plenty!

I had experiences with 3 girls met in different ways:

    1) WAAW (WOW) Nightclub:

I was there on Sunday night. It started to get crowded around 11.30-midnight. There was a good selection of girls. All the girls smile or say hi as you pass so is up to you to pick the one you want. There were a couple who were more pushy than the rest, but nothing too bad. I picked a petite 24 year old from French Guinea. We danced for a bit, had a drink then went back to her place. It’s a good idea to get a taxi to take you, wait for a couple of hours whilst you have fun with the girl then take you home after. It won’t cost you much, 100 Dalasi in my case, and is definitely worthwhile. The girl didn’t ask for money, but I gave her 500 Dalasi (£10, €15).

    2) Internet Girl

I went onto faceparty.com and searched for girls in Gambia. I messaged a few and most replied. I met up with one who appealed. She is 22 and Nigerian. We met for a drink in Senegambia then went to her place – again with a taxi waiting. Had a couple of hours. This was the best I had whilst I was there, totally into the whole GFE and extremely tight body! You can see the pic below…I met up with her 3 times during my holiday. She never asked for money but was always wanting gifts. I took an old mobile phone with me for her which she thanked me for many times!!

    3) Shop girl

I met this one in an internet café. We got talking and I invited her to go for a meal. We went to Ali Baba (all but 2 tables were interracial couples). Wasn’t sure about this one as she is muslim and seemed to see it as a date. I wasn’t sure about her willingness to f*ck on the first date. But we had our meal. After, I asked where we could go to relax. She took me to a friends place in Serrekunda and quite happily spent the next couple of hours in bed – no reservations in private, completely different to in public. Again, no request for money or gift - I did spend about 500D on clothes for her the next day when we met up.

I went to another club (Atlantis I think it was called) also in Senegambia. This was much more a “normal” club with a lot of local Arabs (Lebanese control a large percentage of businesses there) and western tourists present so not much of a pick up joint but pretty good music!

My previous mongering experience has been in the Far East and Europe. Gambia was totally different. The Gambian girls were looking for a boyfriend – a ticket out of there - much more than the Thai girls, for example. And they give a much better GFE experience as a result! Most didn’t ask for money, but a gift is expected. Beware giving your cell phone number out as they get pretty intense. I bought a pay as you go phone to take with me, so doesn’t matter if they have that number.

Couple of pics of the internet girl (no 2) but clothed only – sorry guys!

    Have fun!

I intend to go to the gambia next year for the fourth time. No problem making contact with chambermaids, e. G. In Palm Beach Hotel. A mobile phone is enough to make an appointment for one hour in Keneba or Bakalay. During cleaning the appartment you can start feeling their tits and nice big buttums.

I've decided to visit Gambia in October, a bit of sun and sin will cheer me up before the winter in England sets in.

Anyhow, can anyone advise me of which airlines or travel agents provide the best bargains, please?

In addition, which are the current girl friendly hotels and in October where will be the best place to pick up the honey's?

    Steve

PS When I return I promise to post of few pics for you guys.

Tomwannabe, you mean girls from better homes won't put out, unless you promise to marry them? Is this what happened with girl #1?

    Sweet Gambia...

    Hi folks,

I was in Gambia in Feb this year to escape the bad weather of N.Europe...
First, Gambia is indeed a safe country by comparison. The touristy areas (Kololi, Kombo, Kotu beach and Bacau) have good hotels and small supermarkets like '7 & 11' and along Kairaba Avenue are real supermarkets like at home. No need to take all sorts of bollocks with you - it's all there whether kondoms, dental floss, volvic mineral water, canned food, baked beans, frozen chips, aspirin or malaria drugs or whatever you would find at home. ATM machines do work (sometimes not) and if one doesn't just go to another bank and do it there. Unless you forget your common sense or behave otherwise completely stupid you'll be safe.

Climate from Nov to March is nice. In Feb when I was there it was blue sky all the time, a nice cool (slept very well) 15 degC at night and day tops at about 28 degC. Very nice!

Food is ok and in fact if you stick to touristy areas you'll be more likely to be able to order french fries and a burger than anything else! Hotels range from the cheap and basic to the expensive well maintained hotels; the poshest one being the Ozean View Hotel, also known simply as 'Oz' or 'Ozon V' if I understood correctly. In fact, you should book a flight and just two nights in any hotel so that you can locally switch hotels if you ended up in a less girl friendly hotel initially (will do so next time because hotel policies keep changing). There are plenty of hotels and no shortage of free rooms because the average zombie (e.g. joe block) only watches main stream news, gave up common sense as soon as becoming adolescent and believes they will be hacked to death on arrival no matter where in Africa they would go (well, selfishly I should hope it stays that way...)

Again, it all had been written before... Yes, there is the Wow club, the Calabash and so on where best to go to pick up girls. But it's only the Wow club and the short strip of restaurants and bars where there is action to be had every day otherwise it is mostly Fridays and Saturdays; the Calabash is Fridays, Saturdays is dead (when i was there at least).

Well, I just bummed around and was sitting around most of the time and was even to lazy to go on any of the fishing, bird watching or god knows what trips being offered everywhere. Yes, the green taxis are tourist taxis (insured and all this - so they say) but a lot more expensive than the yellow ones. How cheap or expensive you get fromt the airport to the hotel depens how long and how hard you want to haggle. I couldn't be asked and paid 500 dalasi, I know it was too much but so what... Also, get a mobile phone to schedule your girls. Depending how much fun (or rather stress) you want you might get reeeaaaly busy :-)

If you are just there to pick up girls for the night stick to those who are in the business - they know the score and so do you. Read on why... But in the end its up to you what you'll do.... Depending on what type girl you'll end up with they might be just sweet or horny/without inhibition or whatever - the gambian ladies are mainly muslims and thus a bit more reserved and might not be as daring. You must be able to gauge this beforehand.... And again, if you are nice to them they'll be nice to you. It isn't rocket science, is it?

I befriended three girls over the week I was there and I was just a very happy man (and left Gambia with a bit of heartache even...). One I meet in a supermarket and I just started talking to her (she was just too sweet) and because she reacted friendly I thought I asked her out for dinner. She brought two of her female mates along (equally sweet) and I just felt so good... Sure it was expensive (in dalasi terms - a worker in the bar or a teacher earns about 1000 dalasi and the bill was 1600!) and they ate the fanciest meals. I knew this and if I would have had a problem with it I wouldn't have done it. I was upfront all the time (you'd better be!) that I am not here to marry anyone. Of course I could have done this. She was one of the well behaved girls, i.e. she had to be home at 11pm latest and her friends were there of course to keep an eye on her. Nevertheless she invited me to see her parents, I had a pleasant chat with the father but I made it clear that I have no plans to marry any time soon... I went anyway to see how the normal folks live over there and immerse myself a bit into the local culture (i.e. not on a guided tourist tour).

The next girl I chatted to (chatted up) was a girl working in an ice parlour. To keep it short... I talked to her every day, bought some ice (for her as well) and she liked me. I told her wouldn't mind spending some time together with her and to my surprise one evening when we met she took me (no, I did not ask for it nor did I even think of it!) to a hotel off the tourist areas and we fucked. She didn't ask for money but I rewarded her generously nevertheless... So, even this can happen, believe it or not... But even she had to be home by 11pm, so, time was limited but it was lovely anyway :-)

Girl number three worked (with a body made by god - last night I took her to posh Oz and when she arrived in her lovely dress it almost knocked me off the chair - what a hot babe I thought!) in a restaurant at Kairaba Ave who was also a nice girl but she was sooo juicy... Well, I took her out as well cuddled and kissed her but she wouldn't go any further. I respected this. We spend quite some time together and if circumstances were appropriate on my side I might would have married her in the end (I already wrote too much to explain the in's and out's why) and - in fact - I might end up with a sweet african lady anyway one day. Sure, they want a better life and get out but that's ok. Your girls at home (or wifes) wouldn't be interested in you if you'd be jobless street bum (i.e. with no money) either, would they? I got really attached to her in the end and so did she (you can sense this - I don't have to explain this to you guys, huh?) and missed her for quite a while when I had left.

So, bottom line is, yes, you can get lots of fun but stay away from the 'decent girls' unless you are seriously thinking of taking one with you (or if you are such an insecure moron that you feel pleasure in breaking their hearts to confirm to yourself 'what a man you are'). Sometimes it is better not to know - it makes you sleep better.

A beer costs about 30 dalasi, a meal can be had for a few hundred (touristy area) or 10 if you eat at some local food hut, taxis cost 50 to a few hundreds depending where you go and local mini busses 5...10 dalasis. Oh, yes, another anecdote... One night I left a night club and felt hungry ( 3am) and asked the cab driver to stop at some road side coffee shop (a bench a table and some plastic containers with clean hot water, sugar, coffee, snacks etc..) and one ghanian and two gambians discussing the Africa soccer cup. So, there I was sipping lovely hot coffee and munching a hotdog at 3am discussing the latest soccer events on some dark road in Serrakunda. Nice.

Malaria is only a problem at night, during rainy season, inlands but not at all during day times and near the sea where a constant breeze makes it hard for moscitos to fly. At night they do go after you, so put some moscitos repellent on your ancles and hands and wear long shirts and trousers (you want to anyway otherwise it might get a bit chilly). Always sleep under a moscitos net and in decent hotels you don't even have to do this. Just keep the doors closed and only open a window protected by a mesh (standard of the good hotels) and you'll be fine. Again, its all common sense.

    appartments

    Hi Fresh
    Thanks for the comments
Do you think they would be offering good rates on term hire prices like 1 month or so?
I am thinking of moving there for 1 month or even more next winter.
What facilities do you get at the apps?

    thanks
    Tom

    Nice report Tom!

I was in Kololi just a few weeks ago! Stayed in the Tafbel/Sarges hotel and they would not let anybody in. The Security guards were not that friendly about it either. So I Stayed in an Apartment for one night and I wish I had stayed in the apartment from the beginning. The Apartments were just a short walk away from the bars around Waw. Anyway, I had my wicked way with a nice girl! ;-) The apartments provide no fuss and bother. Refreshing! The Apartment cost 1200 Dalace for 2 in the room, otherwise a 1000 Dalace for 1 in the room.
