Hi guys, I've managed to save up enough for a trip in the fall of this year. I had planned to go in 2020, but that was a washout. I'd like to go to west Africa, and after reading the forums, have narrowed it down to either Ghana or Gambia. It'll be my first time in the west (been to the east twice). It seems easy enough to pick up pros in both places (beach in Gambia, Jokers in Ghana). What I'm looking for is if someone has experience in both countries regarding non-pros in personality, friendliness toward westerners, and which is easier to pull girls from for one-nighters. If looks matter, I'm 40, muscular, and half Arabic / Mediterranean heritage. I'd like to make a decision now, so I can start planning my trip accordingly. I know Ghana requires a YF vaccine, which would be difficult to track down from where I live. Any input would be appreciated.

I've been a few times pre Covid and always had a great time. I wasn't in town for just a couple of weekends. Did Hot Gossip, Jokers, and a few others. I'm heading back over in a couple of weeks. Are these places open? Any advice on where the action is? I'll be in Accra April 1.

1. Never send anyone money, however small the amount is in dollars or euros or pounds. If the girl has no money, ask her to take uber and you can meet her in front of your hotel and pay the driver. Check the distance and the fees that Uber charges, so they driver cannot saw you a fake screen with a fake huge amount.
2. don't send money because they run out of airtime- hahahaha.
3. Always videochat someone before talking to them on Whatsapp.
4. No Skype and HangOuts are for ID theft. If they are real and not scammers, they will give you a whatsapp number that is usually local. If they use a Nigerian or Togo or Ivorian whatsapp and live in Ghana, they always have a local Ghanaian number that you can ask them to call them.
5. Again, don't give up money for whatever 'solid excuse'.
Keep your eyes open please. Have fun instead of unpleasant experiences.

Curious to know how the local scene in Ghana is right now? Are monger options open now or still closed? TIA.

Posts: 22I'm to give some context here: I'm a 31 Haitian American who is constantly mistaken for a Nigerian. Given the ethnicity, I usually don't tell people I'm American so I just tell them I'm from Benin. I was in Gh for almost 9 months and spent most of my time in Kumasi. Being a brother, my type of usually thicker and not a slim and petite like most men here. When I monger, I usually go where the locals go which I'm sure is too seedy for most guys here. There 3 places usually to monger in the city: Dichemso (Plaza), Asafo (the bus station) and Adom. Most of my chicas were walkers but they were usually 19-29. Remember when I told y'all most people thought I was Nigerian? BC is that, I never had to worry about my safety. Since most of the chicas were Nigerian, they generally didn't want to deal with me since I guess I can pass for an Igbo. There would be times were they would speak Igbo to me and be surprised when I told them I wasn't Nigerian (at least not directly). Prices were from 25 CDS to 200 but that wasn't often. Girls there love to nickel and dime hence the 200 CD price. Doggy? Extra. BBBJ? Extra. Pin they're legs during missionary? Extra. Because there's no curfew like here in Kenya, I had more fun. I'm in Mombasa and I'm here because of my airbnb. After I might leave to TZ or SA, thinking of the latter bc I'm a chubby chaser. Questions, comments or suggestions? Go ahead.
