Posts: 861Accra, after a beer at Lizzy's Container.
Lizzy's Container, the only place I like in Osu, on Oxford Street.
A beer, a chat, a Bolt car to my place and that's all.
Penalty paid 200 Ghs, I know, it was overpaid but performed as flash to flash.

An institution in Ghana is the so-called Movie House.
We can define it as a cinema for two or a guest house for cinema lovers or simply an hourly hotel with a wide choice of movies to watch.
In other words, it is a comfortable guest house with a/c, clean rooms, drinks, private bath, where you and your flame can watch a wide choice of movies in your room, sitting or lying and if the movie is not interesting, you can do your movie.
Look on Google Maps, just tipe the name of the city and Movie House.

Under suggestion of a member of this forum who posted some years ago, I went to pay a visit to Lagon, the university district by day time.
Honestly, it is a massacre because even at 4 pm The road is congested of traffic. Tro TRo almost 5 Ghs.
I arrived to the roundabout Haatso Atomic Junction and walked for 15 min to KFC restaurant opposite the Botanical Garden on Haatso-Atomic Road.
Our friend has described this particular KFC spot as a place where students girls converge for a snack but also for knowing new people.
Everything is true and I have seen girls that don't look like an average students but more like models, actresses, singers.
What has captured my attention was a lady, looking Indian on her 40's, almost curvy: she was not wearing pants and didn't care too much.
I visited the Botanical Garden too, because students have free entrance and there were some interesting girls having a rest under the trees but it was almost the time to close, 5 pm.

Although Calabash has already been written about, it is always good to remember it.
Calabash is a bar that goes almost unnoticed at night.
This is a low-rise cottage on Ring Road outside roadway near Danquah Circle beside Glory Filling Station. Open in the evening till late.
It's a place where all the girls who work in Osu converge and stay. A house behind the restaurant is equipped as a hotel by the hour. Drink prices are average.
As always, keep us posted.

It is a sort of road party and the bars are not plenty, so you can check them out easily. Further, don't forget that the area, and Somanya is the centre, is the homeland of Dipo, check https://greenviewsresidential.com/dipo-rites/. and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dipo .
Go there one day before the weekend, Thursday is appropriate, to ensure you a room and study the situation. Do not spend long time in the day to hang around, the locals may identify you and it is better to be invisible.
As always, keep us posted.

For those who are tired of Osu and don't feel like going to Lapaz, I suggest reaching Paradise Street in Adabraka after 8 pm (ref. Niagara Hotel).
Numerous girls hang along the street where there is a spot under a canopy (search on Google Maps for "Accra, Ashawo Pub", do you know what ashawo means?
The girls use a hotel by the hour on the this street, called Shield Hotel.
The scene continues on Paradise Street to the intersection with Eseefoo Street but resumes after the river on Osofo Street where a noisy pub has also a Television Rooms (= hourly hotel).
During the day the scene is very very limited, just near the Shield Hotel or under its shed.
