So like the places I mentioned before are pretty fair. Standard is 100-200 cedis. Don't accept anything more. Roman Guy has a really thorough breakdown from December 2019 I think you can check out. A lot of these girls are starting from 500-1000 cedis and are extremely bang average. In my opinion at least.

    Hey SouthEast,

At the moment night life in Ghana is pretty much getting back to normal (very slowly) especially since the vaccine is in. I think the best bet is Spintex and La Pass. There is a lot of activity going on. The summer will be the most active I believe.

Masks are still required when going out. I've been going to hotels to see if the pros are around but it doesn't seem like they are as active as before.

Day time activities are quite good. I had a bit of luck near UPS at East Legon.

Thanks for the input guys. Ghana it is. Now, I have to track down a YF vaccine (along with the Covid). Good point about the FGM, Chris P. I thought that might have been more toward the interior of Gambia, rather than on the coast.

To add to Univelton's post about travel restrictions, if you're coming from the US, you also need a negative viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure. So, even if you're able to successfully leave the States, returning is where you throw the dice. Even with the vaccine, people can still carry the virus, and if your test comes back positive, you won't be allowed to return home, and you have to quarantine. That's why I'm waiting until later in the year. Hopefully, the restrictions will ease, at least on the US side, once the percentage of people vaccinated is a lot higher.

Friends in Accra are telling me that business is opening progressively.

Looks restrictions on arrival are the same (from Ethiopian website): they do temperature screening, PCR must be negative, test taken in last 72 hours. Upon arrival, another test is done for $150 (big money equivalent for the whole week mongering).

You may be put under 7-day quarantine. Very harsh. The same info can be found on the IATA website. I now feel reluctant to try it this month.

I'd like to go to west Africa, and after reading the forums, have narrowed it down to either Ghana or Gambia. It'll be my first time in the west (been to the east twice). It seems easy enough to pick up pros in both places (beach in Gambia, Jokers in Ghana). What I'm looking for is if someone has experience in both countries regarding non-pros in personality, friendliness toward westerners, and which is easier to pull girls from for one-nighters. If looks matter, I'm 40, muscular, and half Arabic / Mediterranean heritage. I'd like to make a decision now, so I can start planning my trip accordingly. I know Ghana requires a YF vaccine, which would be difficult to track down from where I live. Any input would be appreciated.
My vote would be for Ghana. Given the availability of flights and wide range of girls. I am actually heading to Accra the 3rd week March.
