I was there a few times last year. As I remember it, there were very loud techno style music and not so many guests while I was there either. I already had company when i went there so i cant be sure how easy it is to hook up with someone there. So if i wanted do be 110% sure to find some nighttime company I would go to other places.

It's funny. I live here but hardly get time to go out mongering as I have to get up early for work so usually on on Saturday night do I go out looking for a good time. Unfortunately I am quite picky when it comes to women, especially when I'm paying for it, so even though there are alot of fine ladies out there, not many strike my fancy. Aquarius is another good spot to find women. It's a nice pub near Osu run by some German ladies. Lots of white guys go there and therefore lots of ladies can be found there as well. I need to check out Busua but never any time!!!!
Oh and if you guys need a room for a short time there is this great place in Labone that has rooms for 2 hrs ranging from 60,000 to 120,000. The more expensive rooms have a projection screen and a bathroom. The least expensive have a tv and dvd player and all have a/c's. The cheap ones have no bathrooms though. All have these foam sofas that fold out to become beds and also no sheets or anything, but for 60,000 - 100,000 for 2 hours it's pretty damn good, that is if you have no where to go for a little action with your subject for the evening. It's open 24 hours by the way, and no I don't own or work there. Just passing on helpful info to fellow mongers.

The brute reality of Africa is to survive till tommorrow. Most of these ladies are feeding their extended family through prostitution. 99% of western travelers will never see the extreme conditions the majority of these ladies cope with, choices are few for most Ghanaians and especially the Liberian refuges.

Once these young ladies enter into the sex trade, become jaded, and begin their downward spiral into oblivion, only have a few years to produce the next generation to support themselves when they burnout or die.

This issue was covered many, many pages back.
Posts I have read by guys in or from Ghana (on other boards) tend to say that they too have to provide some support to the ladies, in one form or another. It is expected and they complain about it! I think it must be very common for the better-off guys to have a string of girls on call. For the ladies it may be viewed as a necessary survival skill in a very tough situation.

After you have been with the same girl for a week, the direct prostitution issue gets a little unclear. You have a hard time maintaining the psychic distance required for cold blooded screwing. You begin to like her or detest her as a real person. Still, the money is flowing (slowly one hope's) from your pocket to hers. Perhaps mistress or kept woman might be a more accurate term. There seem to be very large numbers of women agreeable to this. It certainly explains why it's so difficult to escape from them if you are trying for maximum numbers.

There is very little talk here about ST costs. Everything is LT unless you show them the door.
