Just wondering if there is a mongering scene in Tamale given it is mostly Moslem/Dagbani. Send me a private message if you know if it is hopefully like the rest of Ghana in that there are girls to meet and it is not impossible due to strict Moslem rules.

Just returned from my first trip to Ghana. A slightly shaky start but all together a great experience .. many thanks to Global Citizen for his help and advice , hope we can meet up again in some interesting corner of this world.

Arrived on a Saturday night and had gatherd enough information to know that Friday and Saturday nights in Accra are to be made the most of as its somewhat quieter on other nights.

My flight on KLM landed at around 7.30 and thankfully negotiated the airport quite quickly.

On then to Hibiscus Hotel where I had already booked and which I can't praise enough suited my needs perfectly and the staff are great (thanks G.C.) the only drawback is that its quite far from the center.

Showerd changed and was in Town by around 9pm I tried to find Champs as I wanted to have a few drinks and maybe a game of pool before I checked out the more popular places , anyhow after a lot of messing about I had to give up because my taxi as well as everybody else that night seemed to not know it?

I now realised I should just have directed them to Paloma Hotel.

I did however find a great place in Lomboni called the Celsbridge pub which has pool ,sky sports,and really cold Star on tap , stayed maybe a little too long there and certainly drank too much after which I headed for Wakiki .

I visited wakiki three times and didn,t really take to the place , certainly no abundance of nice women!

So I decided at around 12.30 that it Had to be Macumba ! the place was in full swing when I arrived and the action inside was frenetic .. a little too much so ! I was dragged aside three times before I even got to the bar !
was constantly bombarded in the next 30 minutes or so , not by the best of the species either ! so I took refuge back at the bar again where I met Jennifer .
She was very good looking , great body and not nearly as pushy as the others in there but as soon as she realised my interest she really turned on the charm , we had a great time in the club and when I decided to head back had no qualms in letting her accompany me.

I have just made my big mistake in Ghana. I didn't get a price first, I was drunk and she seemed such a nice girl that I thought it would be ok sorted later. Yes I had a great time she was great in bed and did all that was asked enthusiasticly. At around 9 pm the next morning after yet another session she decide it was time to leave, no problem, untill the subject of money came up she wanted 100 dollars! I had calculated that 30 would be about right and we both stubbornly stuck to our prices untill she threatend calling her police friend, at which point I was pissed off with her and said go ahead.

Now maybe the guy that turned up wasn't legit or maybe he was and off duty?

But his Details looked real enough and the Hotel manager was convinced and worried enough ! so after yet more arguing I managed to get out of settling it at the station by giving the girl $50 ( by now she was fed up too) and the police guy $10 for his trouble.

But my advice to anybody else who takes a girl fom a club here. Make sure you get a price first. Saves a lot of hassle . Didn't pay more than 30 after that and had an absolute ball found some great company in Jokers and Aquarius as well as the streets around Cantoments.

Also If I had more time there are great non pros to be found everywhere.

Ghana is definetely on my must do again list.

Well, I have started packing the bag for my second trip to Ghana. I will be in Kumasi and Ho during this trip and hope to post as I go. Anyone wanting specific reports or information should PM me to see if I can assist you.

Other than the usual reports about the towns mentioned above, I plan to look into the issue of the presence or absence of clits in the female population and investigate the hunting possibilities at the new A & C Mall in Accra.

I understand your point, but I was born and raised in the desert southwest and I have hated extreme heat all my life, even when I was very slender as a kid. I don't think this is a factor.

Goal number one! The whole mongering experience is supposed to be fun, romantic if possible, and exceptionally erotic.

What does shit for food, oppressive heat and humidity, crappy hotels, Cockroaches, and Malaria laden mosquitoes have to do with that?

The idea is to overcome the disadvantages and inconveniences and achieve goal number one.

In fact, what the hell are you talking about??? Camping, and roughing it? Or hot sex?

Even the girls hate this third world life style! It's so sad because these people know life could be and should be so much better than what they have. And an 18 y/o girl will fuck an 80 y/o man for a chance to leave. There is nothing romantic about the third world situation that I have appreciated up to now, except the women.

Honestly, how many Americans will enjoy the Ghana weather? How about a show of hands? In fact, without air conditioning or a swimming pool, how many people enjoy hot, humid hazy summer days in Detroit, Chicago, or New York?

Two words: not me.

And by the way, I constantly drank those little water-in-the-baggies and it was the only thing that was cool outside the hotel. So your advice is at least partially right.

My first try at posting pictures.

The first girl is freelancer i met. We danced half the night, then off to my hotel. An absolute nympho like I never had before, and I have mongered in more than 30 countries, inluding the infamous Brazil, Colombia, Cambodia. To anyone from a temperate climate, the weather in Ghana ranges from unpleasant to very darn unpleasant. I recall the despairing tone of voice of a long time Canadian ex-pat in Kumasi bemoaning the coming hot season. His stick-like figure did not protect him from the hammering combination of heat and humidity. I had to ask him "you can't mean it gets worse?"

Exception: On the beach with a good on-shore breeze, it can be rather nice.

Besides, I don´t think Ghana is too bad a third world country If you stay in Accra and Kumasi it is not much less develloped that many Latin American places (of course I am not talking Buenos Aires, Rio or Mexico city here)

The heat is not worse than in most tropical places.

People are extremely nice and the women were not deceiving me worth than I deceived them. For me it is a wonderful country to travel to, very safe, with enough good looking and friendly girls. If you are in shape and decent looking you can have freebies even if you tell them you will never invite them to your country and that you have a girlfriend at home.

But I guess even Accra is too third world and to too excotic to people who haven´t travelled at lot.

I would like to give a few comments on your Ghana view. They may sound a bit harsh, but take it positively !

I have spent about ten months travelling in South-East Asia and I have also visited a few National Parks in Madagascar together with a young woman from Antananarivo. We spent the nights in local small very primitive "Wild West"-like hotels (sometimes no bathroom, squat toilet with cockroaches) but we nearly always found a reasonably comfortable bed with clean sheets (you need your own mosquito net). And I absolutely loved this way of travelling, always tasting the local food and drinks along the way.

This is the way I have been educated : while travelling, clearing your mind from most Western needs and starting from scratch, looking at this new unfamiliar environment with sparkling inquisitive eyes and greedily "swallowing" everything you come across... Thank God there are still countries/regions without typical American or Western-European restaurants or hotels ! Live would be so incredibly boring if all countries looked the same.

I have not too much trouble with the tropical heat, and I am convinced from experience this has something to do with your weight as well as with your state of mind while travelling in a new environment.

It is important not to think negatively but to consider new things in a positive way (except violent robbery of course). It is also very important not to be overweight : a person with a slim figure is not (too much) affected by the heat. Do not drink Coca or the like but try water, tea, fruit juice, the Ghana palm drink. It is absolutely normal if you do not like these drinks or Ghana food the first time, you just have to persevere and after many trials you will at least be more familiar with the habit of acquiring new tastes...

If you want the girls to be fond of airconditioned rooms, then go to South-East Asia. Asian city girls cannot do without.
