Posts: 90Going once again, flight costs
For those contemplating going to Ghana, I paid this week about 1,280 usd inclusive of tax and fees for a November BA flight from west coast of the US. I do not claim this as the cheapest possible fare but it seems good to me.
Has anyone rented at the Crown Court Apartments? Anyone in Ghana willing to check if it is legitimate? It's located right off the ring road, between the Palmona and OSU and I will provide directions by PM to any noble soul willing to eyeball it.

Hi Guys
It's been a while since my last posts and I more or less have been an observer of my favorite places to monger. Ghana is definitely one!
I live in Florida and have flown Africa 4 times.
Ethiopian Airlines twice, KLM once and THE WORST was Ghana Airways when it was in service.
Ethiopian has above average service and great looking flight attendents (which I sampled!) The downside is you fly to Addis Abbaba first then to Accra which is way out of the way. price is about 1325. or so depending, sometimes 1500.My best was 1235.
KLM has good service as well. Expensive though, about 2200.
I guess I'm saying to Pat Reno, there is no cheap way to get to Ghana.
That's why the women are willing and basically free!
Afrointroductions is very real and ALL of the girls ask for cellphones, money and whatever else they can get. (read my previous posts).
Please post information here that is sex or travel specific and not photos of women you wish you could have IF you could get there. Thanks!

Can anyone comment on fair taxi rates, dropping type, to some obvious destinations in Accra since the fuel price increases? Oxford street to Circle, La beach or the University for example. Any idea of the fair rate by the hour after these increases?
Haggling with these guys was my second preoccupation during my stay. Some are true land sharks.

Both "airlines" are really charter services. The aircraft meet US standards and are rented by the flight. The history of these type of arrangements is more problematic than a typical international airline like KLM or British but thousands of people use them every year with no problems.
Without deep pockets, the charter companies can go under without warning. Flying into Ghana has a political and graft dimension that I can't really comment on, but must be significant. The Ghanians need the major airlines and that gives the majors some protection from outrageous demands.

Anyone fly any of these two airlines? I called Newark airport and they told me that the airlines does not exist. In addition, the guy at Akwaaba Airlines said he was new? Any scomments or suggestions.
Thanks

I checked out this charter line and was quoted a RT from Newark at 1,350 USD. Not too much help to someone on the west coast. The ticket site will not quote a price until you have submitted a booking but you are still one step from paying. Not a friendly design and I wonder if they will bug me to pay up? Good luck to them!
GC, thanks for the correction.

You clever devil you. You seem astounded by your discovery that destitute third world women will have sex with strangers for not much money, or that you can promise to marry them and they will do online tricks for you. How much fun that must be for you creating an oh so slick online persona that no teenage ghanaian girl can penetrate. Fun fun fun. Such a breakthrough you have made!! Coupling that with your discovery that women can send pics to you over the internet has sent you into a tizzy that is embarassing to see. And, brace yourself, it is expensive to fly to Africa!! You need to lay down and rest up from all the knowledge you are acquiring.
Some people keep their mouth shut lest they appear stupid, some people open them and remove all doubt.

Looks like someone fell in love while in Ghana...Good for you, but this is a site about finding women that will play for pay! Get married and stay away from the mongering lifestyle. American (Western) men are already too pussified and don't you think that the moment you got on the fuckin' plane, she did not call her Ghanaian boyfirend and they drank and fucked off the money you gave her while she cried for you not to leave. LOL !! Trust me! I know. Been there and done that! Save your feelings and save your sanity! This is for wherever you go in the world!
Trust Me

Posts: 11Came home from Ghana 2 weeks ago, great time despite the heat and high humidity. Still, you canīt display pictures of girls you only met on the internet, that soooo low. Donīt talk about airlinetickets and prices and how it would be and what the girls will do to you. Go there and see it by yourself. I have so many original pictures, but I respecdt all the girls i met, even the worst hookers. And they are the best, when its bedtime. But they are people and I treat them as such, do the sme, please.

Afrointroductions.com is dating site join for free and you can search. Gilrs from all parts of Africa will try and contact you and if you have a Yahoo e-mail they will chat with you and send sexy photo's . I really want to go but price is crazy and over 25 hours from me, Would be easier if I lived on east coast but stll bad. Average income there is $298 year and these girls will do anything to get Visa or support to improve there life.

it was reported on ghanaweb.com that the flight permissions of this charter line were withdrawn and the ceo's passport confirep001ed. the article hinted that a effort was underway to suppress competition in advance of the launch of ghana international airlines (gia).
the best choice for a flight may still be through a ticket broker, on a major airline, even though the price cannot be described as cheap.

The old Ghana Airways has gone bankrupt and has folded. A new national airline is being set up but flights have not started yet.

Does anyone know how to contact Ghana National Airline. All I could find on the net about it was news stories and a letter to the editor that said $900 round trip from Baltimore and it was 11 hour direct flight but late departures common.
Even travel agent claims he couldn't find out about it. Have appointment for yellow fever shot. So close to leaving.

I have a couple of suggestions you may want to try, but I haven't lived in Accra for about 3 years, and things may have changed:
1. Check out a bargain airfare from DC to Ethiopia via Ethiopian Airlines, then grab a cheap fare on the same airline from Addis to Accra. This will add a day or so to your travel time, but it should be cheap.
2. Ghana airlines actually used to have a flight a couple of times a week from New York or DC to Accra.
3. Grab some bargain basement fare to London or Frankfurt and fly direct from there on either BA or Lufthansa.
