Visited Ghana a few times now and never failed to get my whistle well and truly buffed. But I fancy a change of scenery and wonder about the delights of Cameroon. So my burning question fellow mongers. Ghana vs Cameroon?

I spent 3 days in Accra 20 or so years ago. Two weeks were planned but I found the place so dead and boring and devoid of sexy woman I ran to KLM and flew back. That was a long time ago and things may have changed.

The Cameroons to me remain the country in Africa that has never let me down as far as women and theirs looks are concerned. They don't speak much English and I hope they never will because the next language they will learn is Japanese, figuratively speaking.

High costs in the clubs in Douala? What costs? The cheap beer you can nurse all night without being pressured to buy another one?

No-no, proper accomodation is what will burn a whole in your pocket, like everywhere in Africa.

Kenya and Uganda are still on my to-do list. However if I have to fly that far (from Western Europe) it's difficult to resist not opting for Madagascar instead.

Yes, indeed! Those were great years. I was in Ghana in September this year.

A bit disappointing, specially Accra. I still find interesting to visit cities as Cape Coast, Takoradi, Tamale and small places as Koforidua, Somanya, Bolgatanga.

Africa is not the sames as Asia. The best way to meet someone is outside the clubs in normal situations. See a stunner. Start a conversation and she's your's. Its hard to get rid of her.

West Africa has very little nightlife. Ghana over Cameroon by far. You can get by speaking English in Ghana. If you go out, its relatively cheap. However, most of Cameroon you will need to speak French except on the coast near Limbe which is English. The cost is unreasonably high in the clubs in Duala.

East Africa is better for nightlife. Still, just as in West Africa, its just as easy to meet someone and hard to rid yourself of her.

Your right on both points, which reflects that you did not read my previous posts regarding my first Ghana visit. In fact, I did gag on the sewer smell actually! However, am comparing Ghana to Kenya, not America. Apples to Apples. Aside from the sewers, I did not see a lot of paper trash on the ground as opposed to Kenya, where people proudly toss it on the ground, and where you will find whole trash heaps in the neighborhoods. I saw road crews working at night paving the street. No wild driving or overturned matatus in Ghana, or bodabodas on sidewalks almost running over pedestrians. Those little things mean a lot to me.

I also wrote about (in the previous posts again mind you) that in Accra, all I encountered were skanky hardcores from the surrounding countries, and even the Ghana women were overly westernized snobs or seemingly illiterate village girls, as opposed to the huge variety of Kenyan women available in Nairobi. So yeah, I fucked what was available. Hey thanks for breaking the ISG bro code by putting down my posted pussy. I realize this is a very harsh indictment of a place after only a few days in the city, but the differences in the two places are quite palpable. Just saying!

Was there a couple of months ago and visited an "old" friend again. And just as in the past. It was a joyous encounter. Some time at a coastal resort. Thanks for the heads up. I did a lot of research, but did not hear about that place. I have yet to visit more African hotspots like Joburg, Senegal, Dar, as I research retirement spots. I was impressed with most things in Accra except the pussy. I got a semi American / Dubai vibe- American: either very dumb or very educated Ghana women with some reluctant to give up pussy, and Dubai: hardcore pros from other countries out for absolute top dollar before they have to leave. I don't check in as often as I used to while I hustle to rebuild my business. I would have suggested you check out Afrodisiac night club. I went there once with a friend and the atmosphere was quite nice. It is a regular night club unlike Jokers, but my experience in Ghana is that I have been able to chat up non pros in trotros (yeah I get around that way), walking down the street, and in certain night clubs. The night I frequented Afrodisiac, I went with a Afrointroduction connect who was a bomb lay (no holes barred). She could dance her ass off. But while we were there, I noticed two other chicas who were also dancing their asses off all bye themselves. One was light skinned and tall and the other was dark skinned and short. I was especially impressed by the tall chica and at the end of my night there, I sensed that I could have gotten her digits as she had strategically positioned herself between me and the exit.
