It's funny how women here actually think they are indepedent yet all their income is coming from some foreigner or rich guy somewhere. Yet the make out like they are independent or they have the ability to be so. I laugh some times when Ghanaian women talk like this. At least Afro Americans take 2 jobs and try to better their family if they have to but this is just too funny...

My main experience 25+ years- long with Francophones is by living as a student in Belgium and visiting over the years that country for work. I had several opportunistic encounters with all sort of women, single or not, any age and socioeconomic background, mainly form Ivory Coast, Congo and Cameroon. And yes, they all will talk about God, they all will fuck immediately, almost all of them were or willing to be exceptionally kinky in trying almost anything, and I never met one who will object to the idea of having a 2nd girl joining us in bed. Most of them after a few times will demand gifts (no money) , and a lot of them will have the expectation that you should marry them after fucking 7-8 times.

Friends I also had working at NGOs in 'French' Africa had similar experiences.

I felt in love with a Ghanaian classmate 25 years ago but it didn't work out between me and her. I can't generalize that all Ghanaian are deceitful. At least not based on my experience yet. Sure, I have met real scammers, sure the Accra Mall is full of women who will fuck you for pizza and a pair of shoes or some other clothing item. But as I said, I have rarely been asked for money or any other commodity contribution. As I said, my experience has been usually with 30+ poor or low income coming from a middle class background. So that makes me "question" your comment on middle class been the worst.

I am also wondering if deceitfulness is a common attribute to female behavior in all places where women do not have a strong presence. French women are like that. Actually all women around the Mediterranean are like that.

Will I marry a westerner again? Hell no! While I marry an African (so she could get a visa to US or Europe)? I can't honestly say a definite yes, but as women, they do feel more pleasant, a lot more pleasant to be with.

Irrelevant: My experience with Kenyan and Nigerian women at least here in western countries is basically similar to Francophones. There are exceptions but I would have to agree some Ghanaian women are deceptive. I returned from there last month visiting a few of the exceptions but I did run into one Afro chick that told me she makes all of 400 GHC a month at her job but had no problem hopping into a taxi cab to come a distance to meet me. Imagine if I would not have paid the cab fare of 20 GHC! She looked a club working girl and I cut my losses after one drink. I also know a Ghanaian guy who now is an American citizen that married a girl from village he grew up in only for her to announce she only married him to get to the US. Even though it must sound like I think badly about Ghanian women, I believe out of all african woman Ghanian women are at the top when it comes to how they treat their men. If you find the right one (and you are with her constantly LOL). My next trip is Kenya. I will be swinging back through soon. When I was on the bus ride to cape coast there were so many small town and village women who were knock dead gorgeous. No make up or fancy clothes just natural beauty. Their bodies were brick houses. Will also recommend the Stellar Lodge, it's behind the Planters on the next parallel road, they also have a good sports bar "Champs", rooms are good & GF, try to get a room on the higher floor (less noisy at night)

If you have some cash to burn (the hotels in Takoradi cost over $100 USD per night) , then go the option that affords you greatest flexibility. I would not want to rely on public transportation to either get to or around in Takoradi. Sure, some guys have been fortunate enough to score a hookup from the bus trip, but that is luck of the draw. I also get the feeling. Yes I do have my own negative experiences- that most of you / us don't believe that a Ghanaian woman can make a great honest wife. Am I that wrong or am I a naive dreamer / optimist? My experience from Ghana with a few exceptions (they are always there) not all women are after your wallet or to get something for you. Yes, the GFE can be emotionally confusing compared to the treatment.at least I have experienced- with women in western cultures. But in my dating in Ghana (I am talking about dating not SW) , I have you paid nor been asked for money or other gifts. Probably that makes my judgement a bit blur sometimes.

Now if I were to talk about my experiences with Francophones (girls I met from Cote the' Ivoire, Cameroon and Mali). Those will f_ck anything at anytime and even for no reason. Not even for a basic attraction. Most likely because you just asked them to or because they were bored that very moment. Have seen similar attitude with Kenyans. Went to Labadi Beach yesterday to relax and do some talent spotting. Elegance Spa is at the entrance to the public beach and a pretty thing gave me a hand-out (wish it was a hand-job) advertising their services. Yes, as Jiggydus reports, very save but as anywhere in Africa (in the world) keep a high alert. Do not get drunk and walk on roads in the night: this might be dangerous (pay a look on your back frequently)!

As for Vienna take anyway a taxi, it is too far and dark.

I don't like to go to Vienna City in the night because of the too many hookers sitting and waiting like hungry animals. I prefer Vienna in the early afternoon: different population. Beware: there are two venues (2011) called Vienna. One is on the way to the other: it is an outdoor bar on the way where a lot of girls work on road (it looks like an Italian road!). Another is the former Ocean and is still known under this name: it is on the seafront, on the beach. I prefer this one.

I would like spend about a week in Ghana and more especially in a city which is not as big as Accra. Takoradi seems to be a good average but I have a few questions.

International flights only land in Accra; do you advise to go from Accra to Takoradi by plane or with a taxi?

Are domestic flights safe enough? I saw that the company "Viva air" has daily Accra-Takoradi flights and read on the forum that it's not so high.

Which girl friendly hotels near clubs and bars do you recommend?

As promised I am dropping a report on my recent experience in Ghana. I was there week before last 24nov. 30 nov for a week. As suggested in this forum had created an ID on Afrointroductions and chatted up with more than 15 odd girls (It's easy to connect with them, even if you don't put a picture on your profile as long as you are not local).
