    Students

Agreed but I'm looking for something a little more western trendy. Take the girl in this picture. She doesn't have that heavy local look. She doesn't look like the yam seller on the road. She is pretty by western standards. She is also a student at UCC.

I am wondering though if it would be better to hand out where students hang out instead of at the university. Driving around legon during the day and the place seems quiet. As if there are barely any students about.

I went into the legon uni but felt abit out of place driving around in circles in the uni campus and seeing barely anyone. Also its not like you can park your car near a group of students and try and talk to one girl.
It is my third or fourth contribution to the thread. Am a lazy reporter but am following the reports for like since I joined.

Ghana is full of non pro, and full of babes who need Sponsorship. Students type of all kind.

Don't feel shy to approach any. The first one is the hardest but when you lay your hands on her she will be your mamas an.

I still caution that this place is not for everyone. Not the safest place to be hanging out, and not for the unseasoned traveler. I stand on my earlier comment that this place is hit or miss. And way more misses than hits. Quality is at the low end, and comes no where close to building a connection with the thousands of cute, non-pros who will spend the week, weekend, or whatever with you and never ask you for anything other than taxi fare.
For guys like me who work here and always have judgmental colleagues in tow, the Calabash is about as good as it gets as it allows for discrete short-time action that does not involve dragging some hottie off to a ST hotel or hanging around a loud nightclub late at night where it is only a matter of time before I will get caught.

There are no massage places in Accra that really do full-service and apart from the very expensive Russian FS place, I have not been able to find an on-site location where the mongerer, whose personal circumstances dictate a need for a discrete on-site location, can practice the hobby discretely.

Yes, you can stop a lady in the street or the market any time you want or head to the nightclubs but my personal circumstances do not allow for even bringing ladies from such locations to the DVD hotels or short-time hotels. For middle-aged guys with my kind of baggage, the Calabash is about the only place in town. But if any of you guys have any other ideas for discrete on-site places, please let me know.

Sent you a PM bro; I'm intrigued by the location as I mentioned I stayed a week in OSU at the Penta just a few hundred meters from Danqua Circle and felt safe walking to the Macumba on Ring Road. There is a small cadre of WGs at the Penta Bar / Cafe but I only recalled one worth hooking up with. For the most part nothing there during daylight. Either at the Penta or on the street (the daytime WGs at the Penta too skanky for me). I had an endless list of girls to hook up from Afro Intro contacts and all of my nights were booked, but there was the occasional morning, early afternoon etc that I would have liked taking one off the street during day time, but never spotted any WGs worth taking.

Also curious if you've been inside the Calabash and if they have pros or semi-pros inside. Thanks ahead.

I have secured some personal transport and can now head for the beaches on weekends, including the far away beaches and other locations. My activities in Accra are rather restricted by the fact that I always have colleagues in tow who get in the way of enjoying the hobby and I do not want to get caught with some hottie on my way to doing the deed.

I am looking for recommendations for laid-back locations that are within about 2 hours drive of Accra, preferably sea-side but would be happy to try out other locations, where one can either practice the hobby or at least enjoy the company of a local lady for the weekend.

If you provide me with some info, I am happy to write a review or update.

    Calabash Redoux

It had been a while since I had been there, so since posting the messages below. I thought I should drop by Calabash again. The place is admittedly hit or miss. You don't actually need to get out of your car. Just drive into the parking lot. I don't think I've ever been in the bar for more than a few minutes and never for a drink. All the action is waiting outside of the bar. As a side note, the owner is a former taxi driver from New York. He has a second bar in the building next door (or across from the Calabash front door) that can be opened up or used for special occasions. It's pretty swank inside.

So the other day, I drove in and was instantly met by someone before I got out of my car. Talking to her from the window, I was unsure. But she was eager, and the more I talked with her the more I was persuaded. The prices are rock bottom (and let's keep them that way, okay gents? If you want to shaken down by an overpriced hooker, then go hit Jokers with all the other tourists who seem to drop a hundred bucks or more and make the simplest exchange more pain than it's worth for the rest of us).

We went back and I was surprised to see perfect breasts, decent body and was treated to a fantastic BJ. She was tight and into things. When she flipped over and offered her ass. For a slight increase in price (still very reasonable). It was too hard to resist. I ended up with a phone number that I will plan to call in the future (and one I'm happy to pass on).

    Bi. Curious SemiPros? Any Suggestions?

    Dear Gents,

I would strongly appreciate any advise / recommendation / suggestion / whatever in finding a bisexual or bicurious semi pro or normal girl to join me and my ladyfriend. If anyone could please PM-me with specific phone number recommendations, it would be even better.

I will be in Accra probably around the 20th for a week or two. PM if you feel like going for a cup of coffee or a beer during daytime.

    Thanks a lot.

    Calabash

This place is not for everyone. Cheap, last resort, mixed bag. Be careful.

To find it: It's a tiny little shack-like place near Osu. From Danquah Circle head towards the beach. 50 meters on the left side is a gas station. It is the building (shack) to the right of the gas station. There is always a mixed bag of girls (low-end) milling around in the parking lot. There are cheap rooms in the building just behind it. You won't actually walk into the bar. A lot of girls will take you around, back behind the gas station to the Saturday Club? (Or some name like that) which is just as much a dive and functions the same way.

That said, there are tons better ways to hook up with someone. Just saying hi to someone at a store or in the street. The movie houses (one in Labone, or the one mentioned just now in East Legon) are places you can take someone. I've also found a nice, discreet, hotel that runs for 20 Cedis near Cantonments. Better to have a clean room, shower, towels, and safety.

After RTFF, I see Living Abroad mentions Calabash, which sounds like my kind of place, but I can't seem to find out where it is. Can anybody give me a landmark or anything? (I think he said it is across form a more upscale bar? What is the name of that bar?)

Maybe see you there some time?

    Thanks

sodom and gomorrah is to be avoided. not only is it potentially dangerous from a personal safety point of view, the place is physically dangerous in the sense that the structures are built precariously and fires are know to break out. not a place to get caught up in a stampeed as the shacks are build very close together!

the other slum areas you mention are probably nicknames that i have not heard of as they are all place-names in nigeria, apart from swalaba which is in the centre of town. again, not a place i would go for a stroll through the centre of but i have been on its outskirts many times. it is best known as the place where the best ghanaian boxers come from as the young guys from there grow up fighting.

i don't see any great benefit to heading to the shanty towns for the hobby or even for freebies. plenty of other safer places to go.
thanks for elaborating and clarifying on these areas. i obviously agree with you in staying safe. that is why i posted this as a guide where not to go. little lagos is in legon. i read about little nigeria on africawatch but the 2-3 locals i asked had no idea where it might be.

    have a great weekend.

Practical information part2: Areas to avoid in Accra.

Other smaller slums are Abuja (I have been there several times, never felt threatened but I was there during daytime) known for prostitution and drugs (of course) , Swalaba and Lagos Town. I have heard that areas like Little Nigeria and Lagos Town should be avoided.
