Grand Bassam is famous for the beach. It's the place to visit for students, pros and semi-pros. Actually there are always girls on the beach. You have private beaches owned by some hotels / restaurants and public beach where students come for fun when its very hot. On weekends its very crowdy with huge loads of teens coming from Abidjan. Several schools opened in Grand Bassam and their students usually go to the beach on working days but will go back to Abidjan on weekends.

And like everywhere else, you can always try in Beauty salons and some Phone booths.

close to this grocery store called 'Leader Price. ' It is a one block street full of marquis and a strip tease bar called 'Dreams Bar. ' The general area is called Riviera Golf. Try to be there around 19:00, there should be plenty of girls in the marquis.

Photo of this bar. A common type maquis that can be found throughout the city, outside Plateau. Marcory is another good place to find them. Get a good driver and he'll get you to these outdoor fun spots. One very important thing is: day of the week is crucial. Places can be dead except on weekends.

Also, in regard to the yellow fever, if approved for visa they will still look at my certification? Sounds like I need to get that booster shot. My big fear, (and this happened in Kenya) , they will not accept a bribe, (I speak no French) and want to vaccinate me there using a 16 penny nail!

I got mine for 1500 ksh in Mombasa Airport. Just ask for port health officer. I am sure same everywhere ports or airports. And much cheaper than in Europe.

My arrival went smoothly and make a note that the airport is very crowded and with my lack of French seemed to add some confusion on top of that.

I had planned on having Sarah whom I had met on the Afro website meet me but after seeing how crowded it was I waited.

I found a guy to call my apartment connection for a pick up and luckily he was there and waiting with a taxi. Taxi price was 10, 000cfa, I gave him a $20. USA and he was ok.

Cocody was supposed to be about 45 min. From the airport and with the traffic bumper to bumper at 8:30 pm it ended up taking about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The apartment is nice, although I saved a lot of money with the rate, I spend the difference in taxi fares and commute time.

If I had it to do again, I would choose somewhere else, closer to more activity.

Funny thing about Cocody, it is a very large area and street addresses are none existent, even the taxi drivers have to stop and ask whenever I want to return to my apartment.

I had Serge, my apartment manager telephone Sarah on our way home who has a job in a retail shop selling clothes and modeling as well. She told Serge by the time I take a shower, she will arrive, and she did just that.

The first photo she had sent to me as I would know what she looked like, the second photo, I took with my phone after arrival. I will not need to explain the others.

Sarah provided a good BBBJ, and let me know that although I do not speak any French, I am a " cunning linguist".

Seems like just after I closed the door and we were alone, she started removing her clothes, first her top came down and she had a nice rack, then the bottom and guys, you all know how nice those asses are!

After 2 days, I had had enough and told her I had things I need to do. Also, I picked up some waist chains for $9. 00 USA that I have been offering as gifts and they all love them! I give this to break the ice and show them how special they are.

The next one is a RN. 22 and a spinner. I will post as I go.

Know that whether you have a pro or non-pro, it all ads up. I tend to prefer non-pros that have jobs

You are absolutely right about the drinking. However, in Abidjan the pressure to buy drinks is very high. Ivorian (non muslim) like to drink and party. Also there is no cover fee for bars or discotheques, they make the money on the drinks. If you don't buy a bottle of whisky, they will think that you are cheap. Drinking wine, champaign, whisky is a sign of status.

You need to go Abidjan, don't let the french have all the fun.

Though spraying money on big drinks and stuff is a common theme to show status, you can still get away with it buying just beer or even juice simply by stating that it is your preference and if you don't like it, too bad! This puts you on a pedestal with women in general as they see that you are your own man and a challenge. And nothing intrigues hot girls like a challenge. The hotter, the better, because they are used to getting their way with every man.

I've learned to refuse to buy these girls drinks when they ask. They still hang around you for a while. Start asking them to do errands for you. 'Go and tell the DJ to play this song. Find a pack of cigarettes for me. Call the waitress over. ' Be bossy. Then you buy them a drink. Now, instead of them seeing you as a cheap or poor asshole, you have become very desirable. Kind but not the average sucker. In command, but not an asshole. Now they will wait to do your bidding because they know a reward may be coming. And always let them know they are the prettiest girls but not the only girls in the place. Keep the power.

I thought perhaps I would post preparation fees not to get mixed in with more, (hopefully) substantial posts later. I'm scheduled to fly out of Tampa on Brussels, found a flight for $1603. Tax incl. And that was 4 to 500. Less than anything else so I booked it. The down side of the savings is the layovers. What is typically about 16 to 19 hours to ABJ. Will now take 30.

My stay is now scheduled for Sept 4th-28th.

The service apartment in Cocody, I found a link on a earlier post that proved fruitful,

He said the room was 25, 000. Cfa per day and quickly I mentioned trip advisor, then threw my length of stay on there and told him I would be happy at 15000cfa. He kind of stammered out of nervousness, quickly recovered and said that since I was booking over 20 days I could have it for 15000. Cfa per day. He revised the invoice and sent me a paypal link.

Yellow Fever, as I had mentioned previously, mine expired Aug 27th, I called the health department here and was there when they opened at 7:30 am I was 2nd in line and it all went smoothly $110. Dollars later. Visa, still waiting, $150.

Just a word in support of Pete Benetar and his formula for success. I use the Afrointroductions site wherever I monger pussy and alcohol, (Alistedmales 2 favorite things!) always found that works well for me. We will see!

That IS quite a report and thank you for sharing your experiences. I hope you do not mind me making a few comments that might enhance your sexual encounters.

You might consider using dating websites e. G. Badoo, Tagged, AfroIntroductions or AI (AI is my favorite though you must pay membership fee with AI to correspond with ladies vs the former two which are free). One advantage of the websites is you can confirm the woman is literate (at the very least a soft indicator the woman has some measure of sophistication). The second and really most important reason to correspond (for me) is within a few exchange of messages and a decent dialogue you can begin to get a measure of the woman's social skills, values and so on...

I agree, and I'm told I need only a booster shot that is less potent, I have met a nice English / French local female online and have several non-pros lined up.

Hopefully, with a one month stay I will have some nice photos to share with whatever else I learn.

I am jealous of you. I would love to go to Abidjan for a month. You should also go to Grand Bassam (very close to Abidjan) and Asinie Mafia (close to the limit to Ghana). They are two beach towns and very nice. You should not have problem finding girls in those places. May be you can take a girl from Abidjan.

15,000cfa per night for Cocody is a great deal. I paid $28,000cfa per night in Cocody. However, let me warned you that Cocody is not in the center of the action. Older wealthier people live there. You can still have a lot of fun in Cocody, but not as much as other neighborhoods. If you are adventurous, I will recommend Youpougon. People who live there are famous because they like to party. It is not a poor neighborhood, despite what you may read in lonelyplanet. It is a middle class neighborhood. You can find great value here, because there no many whites. If you are more cautious, I will recommend something that is close to zone 4 such as Marcory. Here is where WG rule and where most of the well-known establishments (St Germain, Taxi Brousser.) are located. You will find more competition for the girls and likely higher prices.

If you are set on Cocody, I will highly recommend go to this area very close to this grocery store called 'Leader Price. ' It is a one block street full of marquis and a strip tease bar called 'Dreams Bar. ' The general area is called Riviera Golf. Try to be there around 19:00, there should be plenty of girls in the marquis and if everything fails you have the strip tease bar with WG.

Finally, two warnings:

1) They do check the YF vaccine card.

2) You need to be careful with taxis. They always try to screw you and they do not know where they are going. On top of that Abidjan does not have street addresses that you can mapquest. Every direction is 'close to this pharmacy' or 'close to that gas station'.

Trip: Around 2 weeks. I was there for work and I only have time for the hobby in the evenings. I also could not stay very late, since I have to go to work by 8:30. I usually return to the hotel around 18:30. My hotel was in a residential neighborhood far from zone 4. My problem is that now there are only four girls and I only like one (Elvi).

The BEST (most reliable) girls reveal photos with family and friends indicating a high index of authenticity. If you meet a woman who is NOT accurately represented by the photos she posts on her profile, terminate the engagement immediately; maybe buy her a soda or whatever and tell her you have an unexpected meeting for work etc. Have several ladies lined up so you do not waste an entire evening etc.

My last comment goes back to the bar; I do not like to be with any woman who drinks. Even if the woman is a nice lady, alcohol can make a good girl crazy. Yes, she may get crazy in a good way, but all too often she can get crazy in a bad way too. Broken glasses and bloody bar fights I suspect is something you can probably live without.
