I think I was not clear about taxi drivers. Many taxi drivers in Morocco are thugs. (It is not only in Morocco).

Once I came back with a lady on a cab in the night as we agreed 1000 dhm for the night, and the taxi driver talked to her in their slang, I could pick up the Arab words and he then I understood what he was saying to her. He criticized her for choosing a westerner. He said that we were imperialist and colonialist. It came to point I had the feeling I heard a guy from Isis and thought about the available weapons I could use. Hopefully he brought us to my apartment but OMG it was scary.

Another time, a taxi driver promised me many women. In fact, he just pretended he knew many girls but in fact he knew nobody. The local girls have no connection with the taxi drivers. Sometimes they call their pimp the taxi driver but in fact, they are a relative not a taxi driver.

It is very naive to think that a taxi driver can help you finding women.

You shouldn't share a taxi with a girl. This is a huge mistake in Morocco.

Yes, majority of Moroccan taxi drivers are there to screw you. But from my experience with the girls I have picked in bars / clubs, they usually call the taxi driver they know for safety. Rarely is it just a taxi driver on the street but even then I have had no issues. During the day, yes they try and hike the charges as much as they can. When I first went to Marrack, I wanted to take bus to Agadir. The taxi driver first went to the main one after asking double the fare. The buses were full till evening. I wanted to try the other major bus service. I did not know that it was across the street. I went out and the same taxi driver was still there. He asked a ton of money and took me round the block and to the bus station. Then I realized that it was right across the street but I had to pay the taxi driver the agreed price. It is what it is and just be careful.
