Karo is a no-alcohol-in-public places city but has a very strong and vibrant bar scene. Hotel bars get packed around 10 on weekend nights. One specially good is the Prince hotel, where u cant miss a great 9 or 10 at all! Just ask around where the ladies are, if u cant spot them and everybody is happy to show!

Two good reports for Nigeria, that is really good news.

This is a general observation and can be applied to all of West Africa.
When I first plunged into the nightlife scene here in Lagos, it happened a lot that when meeting a girl she would say:
"You don't remember me? I'm so and so and we were together then and then!"
OK, I do tend to partake in a lot of drink and judging by my friends, I am a light weight. This aside I noticed that I focused on the girl as a whole. One key point of recognition was the hair style. With african ladies this can change from week to week and depending on the hairdo can make them look absolutely different.
Now I really try to focus on the face alone and it helps me to remember the person.

I just spent 2 weeks in Nigeria. Enugu State and Lagos State. I'm an American white guy, so it was a "trip" being the minority. That being said, I had a great time. The Nigerian people are very generous and will offer you the shirt off their backs. I can't count the number of times a friend's friend took me into their house for dinner, cold beer, conversation, etc. Very nice.

I also had some great nights with some very beautiful ladies. It's funny. College students very often take to shagging in order to pay their tuition. Money is not discussed. It's up to you to slip something into their purse in the morning, if you choose.

In Lagos, being a bigger city, the ladies are more beautiful and classy. Attached are pics of a 22 year-old beauty with whom I spent one night, the next morning, lunch, all afternoon, and then another night later that week.

Finally, I had the good fortune of becoming "color blind. " After 3 or 4 days of being surrounded by Nigerians, I stopped noticing the difference between my skin color and theirs. I just noticed faces. It was GREAT. I'm telling you. If everyone could experience this color-blindness, racism would die.

As I just registered to this page, I post my report a bit delayed. I have been to a duty trip to Lagos a couple of weeks ago. My hotel was the Sheraton in Ikeja, and this Hotel is full of girls. Especially on the weekend, when the "Club" is opened. Then the club is crowded with Ladies of all kinds for every taste. I decided to take one with me to the room, and that was very nice. Generally I would agree that just arriving and taking a taxi is not the best way to go. The armed escort is another extrem (depends how exposed your company is).

Book a hotel in advance and have the Hotel pick you up. I would even guess this is a cheaper version than taking a taxi. All hotels provide this service (well good ones at least).

Remember this is not a tourist country. The infrastructure is just not quite in place. Be street wise and safe.

Think Lagos is safe.....think again.

This is my first visit to Lagos, Ikeja.

I read the forum but i can not found any informaion where to go in Ikeja.

Sandra's Bar, but where is it?

There are some University girls available in Ikeja? For the calabar price not the upscale one?

Anybody can give me some hints please to get happy in Ikeja.

Well there is quite a lot of fun to be had in Ikeja. Broken down there are two main areas, GRA Ikeja and Opebi Road/Allen Avenue.
GRA Ikeja
Issac Jones Road - Metro Bar and Sandras Bar.
Metro Bar is not a classic pick up joint but has the coldest beer in the area. Sandras Bar is where you can pick up or get picked up.
Oduduwa way - La Cachette and Londoner
La Cachette is bar, restaurant and disco all in one. Certainly there are ladies there to be picked but you will have to see if they are not in company.
Londoner is a restaurant with english pub food (cheap good and always packed).

Opebi Road/Allen Avenue
There are numerous places along this road - Options, Do it all, Motherland ... . At night laidies line the road in front of the establishments and there is a wide selection. This area can be a little bit rowdy so just stay alert.

The best bet for a pick up during the week is Sandra's Bar. On weekends the place is packed full and very, very, very loud.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday the club in the Sheraton Hotel (Bank Antony Way) is open. Drinks are expensive but the ladies are nice.

Most of the girls will say that they go to universtity, some actually do.

Calabar Price??? As everywhere, negotiate the price beforehand.

Hotel Royal Damgrete is in the eastern part of Nigeria, in a small town called Umuahia. I guess you are going there for business. The place could be fun depending on your local guide, but not as exciting as Lagos, Portharcourt or Abuja.

I would like to learn more about the Hotel Royal Damgrete. Is it nice? Would you say it is at least a 4 star hotel?

Have you been there or do you know anyone who has? I would like to learn as much as I can about the hotel before going there. Any information you provide will be most appreciated.

Well just to keep the forum alive. No real info, just a night out.

Well it is Monday evening in lovely Lagos. My board of directors is in the country and I am meeting them for a drink in the Sheraton Lobby bar.

As I approach I see these two gentlemen talking to a asian lady. Well after a introduction I find out she is Korean, it’s her birthday and she works as a flight attendant. So after a few rounds of beer (she is drinking single malt) the gents bugger of for dinner. I say I’m not hungry and get a broad smile from both of them. Little Miss Korea by this time is well down the path of having a little bit to much. On the other hand am really not willing to pay the over prices in the Sheraton. So I invite her out to another bar to have a few more single malts. After a while she’s hanging on my shoulder pecking my neck, we exchange kisses.

This is looking good.

But to good to be true.

I realize she’s hanging on my shoulder because she can hardly stand anymore. Oh, bummer, am not having any of that. So around 10pm I bundle her up in my car to bring her back to the Sheraton. Park the car, steer her through the lobby, up to the second floor. She opens the door, I say good night.

I laugh and say Naira, I’m local. I show her 3000 (Naira) by hand sign. She holds up her hand and indicates 5000 (that’s what I normaly pay). I make a sour face at that. She looks me straight in the eyes and says you will not regret this. OK, enough chit chat, take her by the hand and we wander out.

Back to the house, send her under the shower. She comes out. My turn for Shower.
Back to the living room. She indicates where she wants me to sit and proceeds right away with a nice bbbj. I like this, good one. Will it get better?

I have been doing some Research on the Hilton Hotel in Lagos. Yes, it exists and yes there are PRC Ladies available. So with this information in hand, we ventured out one afternoon to find the Hilton Hotel (nothing worse than trying to find a place at night). Also on the game plan was to find a joint near the Hilton hotel that has topless dancing.

So we slowly drive down Allen Avenue (annoying all other drivers with our slow pace) until we found a big sign - Hilton Hotel. That wasn't to hard. We drive down the side street and before turning into another street where the Hilton is we are greeted by another big sign - Titty Bar! So off to the Titty Bar we go.

Now bear in mind, it is three o'clock in the afternoon.

After a short distance we arrive at the Titty Bar. We did not think it would be open. There is a guy standing outside (well dressed), he motions us to come in. It turns out he is the manager of the place. He says, sorry no ladies but you can still have a beer. Of course a beer is in order. He explains this is a American Style Strip Club with lap dancing. They also have private booths for private shows (could imagine it being africa more can be had).

So we sat there drinking our beer watching porn on a large flatscreen. Well for me the fun part was watching two guys that had to service the AC trying to concentrate on their job.

Due to legal issues, this is a members club. Entrance fee is Naira 3000.- on a weekend (Naira 1000.- Mon & tues). Considering you can get a lady for Naira 3000.- a night this is quite expensive.

After our beer, we went on to the Hilton to check out the layout. Parking can be a little bit of a hassle. Found the "club" empty of course but at least now we know where it is.

Plan is that sometime on a Monday or Tuesday, we will venture down to the Titty Club (cheap entrance) and see what is on offer.

Will keep you posted and next time will include some proper directions to the club.

Had a week in Lagos, but not much time for fun. Managed however to get a trip to Havanna Bar. Or former Havanna Bar. I think it has changed name, but its referred to as Havanna on www.oyibosonline.com.

This place has changed since last time i was there (less than a year ago). Much more ladies around, more approaching and not that good looking. I was a little in a hurry so i didn't have time to find a dream lady, so i ended up with the one on the pics. She promised everything, perform half of it and required almost double in the morning. *****!
