Posts: 321Visa Interview in Home Country Only?
Thanks Roman,
Its my understanding that a visitor needing a visa must interview at the embassy in their home country. That would require me to return to USA then travel to Washington, DC to interview at the Nigerian embassy. Since I'm in Kenya, I want to interview in Nairobi if possible. Thanks again for your experience.

Besides those with ECOWAS passports, has anyone applied for a Nigerian visa and NOT had to go through the interview?
While I'm at it, if you did interview, what was the interview like?
Its my understanding that Nigeria requires a face to face interview at the embassy in the country you are citizen of. I'm living in Kenya and don't want to fly back to the US then travel further to either WAS, NYC or ATL to interview at one of the Nigerian embassies.

Posts: 3Are you expecting a lonely oyinbo to roam streets of Lagos and look for WG's? I don't want to be mugged and / or kidnapped. Had no problem with this in Ghana, but Lagos has a bad name and walking alone even during the day is not recommended.
Therefore I'd rather pay little bit more for the comfort. I don't expect to rack up hundreds of dollars for taxi. So if you don't have an answer for my question I don't appreciate this kind of bickering.

Posts: 3So you're suggesting that lonely oyinbo should roam streets of Lagos and look for WGs. Like really man, I don't want to be mugged and / or kidnapped. Such advice is OK in Ghana, which is much better country but not in Lagos 9 ja.
I'm not going to pay hundreds of USDs for taxi. It costs 5 USD max inside VI. Just want to bring WG to my hotel and if I want to pay 5 USD in advance, that's my problem.
Is there anybody who can answer my question without bickering?

Posts: 3Codedruns transportation cost upfront
Hi all,
I will be visiting in May and doing my research:
Can a foreigner monger register for mobile money?
As I know the mobile operators are having bank license, which means that they sort of open an account. Is this limited to citizens / residents only?
Reason I'm asking is that codedruns are now suggesting to pay taxi upfront:
Our esteemed gentlemen, owing to fraudsters making a runner after service, escorts now demand tribute before service. No Exception.
Clients are expected to provide transportation upfront, after conrming escort with a video call. Please do not hesitate to report any Fraudulent Escort.

Posts: 7Planning a visit at the end of March
Hi guys,
I am planning my yearly visit at the end of March and staying in Lekki 1. If there are any current updates on places to monger around the island besides the online resources such as codedruns, Badoo or AfroIntroductions, I will appreciate the info.
