Its my understanding that a visitor needing a visa must interview at the embassy in their home country. That would require me to return to USA then travel to Washington, DC to interview at the Nigerian embassy. Since I'm in Kenya, I want to interview in Nairobi if possible. No, it is not necessary to fly to Washington. If you are resident in Kenya, that means you have a residence permit, you can apply directly in Kenya and be interviewed there.

It has happened to me in 2016 in the Nigerian Embassy in Roma. Visa refused.

Stupid questions. Just to ensure that you are not into human beings traffic or other frauds.

Prepare the itinerary including natural parks, african culture museums, beautiful landscapes.

If you know some priests, say and prove that you are into Bible and christianity.

Tray to understand if they covertly like a bribe and make them understand that you are game.

Are you expecting a lonely oyinbo to roam streets of Lagos and look for WG's? I don't want to be mugged and / or kidnapped. Had no problem with this in Ghana, but Lagos has a bad name and walking alone even during the day is not recommended.

Therefore I'd rather pay little bit more for the comfort. I don't expect to rack up hundreds of dollars for taxi. So if you don't have an answer for my question I don't appreciate this kind of bickering.

I'm not going to pay hundreds of USDs for taxi. It costs 5 USD max inside VI. Just want to bring WG to my hotel and if I want to pay 5 USD in advance, that's my problem.

I am going to Cuba since 1989, so I know what a monger paradise was. Was, because the last decenia the attitude against mongers changed, also last month I was in Thailand, for me not a monger paradise anymore, I think the guys from the '90's had still as lot of fun there. But nowadays is over and out in my opinion. I don't talk about websites, or bars, massage places, they are still plentiful but not my way of mongering.

I met very but very beautiful ladies in the 5 stars like the Four Seasons, next door The Capella Bangkok and the Rosewood but it was not possible. Even a proposal shopping trip to Icon Siam for a pair of Louboutins shoes , around 1000 USd, just had no success,

The attitude against mongers changed dramaticly worldwide due to the internet.

The last monger paradise is subsaharan Africa. Is it for everybody? No. It's hard core and there's rules. Nothing for pussies. And to master it you need a couple of years. Everybody starts out as a rookie. Let it grow on you. And in the next 50 years little will change. Due to the high birth rate and poverty.

Lekki phase one is a fantastic place to stay. Its in the middle of evrything. From food to chill out spots, lounges, bars and clubs. It is also 24 hrs. Victoria Island is also a good place to stay.

Did you stay in Lekki Phase 1? If not, what is the best area of Lagos to stay in?

All in all, there is plenty of availability on ground if you are not willing to do work ahead and Lekki phase 1 was full of available girls at night.

In Lekki phase one you can't go wrong. There a loads of places from bars. E. g beer brawn, angle villa, club medusa and soo many.

Yep I certainly agree with that. In my opinion, the YouTube travel content creators have played a large role in creating an explosion of travel overseas for the hobby and due to oversaturation, the prime destinations of yesteryear no longer have the appeal they once had. Hopefully, Africa stays relatively unchanged for some years to come.
