Do you mean Elie, who used to run the original ebar when the bar was a small villa in a side street? Elie used to have a pony tail in those days. Elie has got rid of the pony tail and is now the manager at Pats Bar.

A guy called Marcus took over from Elie at ebar, but he has also left and now runs Sailors Bar, near Admiralty House, in Lekki Phase 1.

I will be going to Lagos for a year or so with my company, I expect to have a fair amount of spare cash and free time so I will be doing my share of mongering while I am there. I will be staying in Victoria Island area and should be able to pretty much choose my own pad. Can anybody recommend a good base which is pretty close to the major spots such as La Playa as I have not seen many addresses here just names of night spots.

I hope that when I am there I can post some good intel for you guys to enjoy and I will be sure to include photos and contact info within the reports.

More information: Lagos is dead from Sunday night to Wednesday night, the bars feature almost no ladies, some places are closed. For these days I would recommend you a premium membership in Badoo or Afroinductions to meet some pussy. OK there are the SW, but believe me. 99% of the SW are lowest quality pussy, dirty, smelling, fat & ugly. Only freaks and locals with few money use them.

You "expect to have a fair amount of spare cash". Depends what your company gives you! For driving around you need a driver or a cab. 5000 up 10000 Niaras a day. Bars and clubs are not cheap. Entry is free, drinks cost as much as in Europe, spending some 5000 or 10000 Niaras is easy. Premium girls take some 10000 to 15000 over night. You can easyly end up with 40000 Niaras for one night for restaurant, drinks, driver, girls. Thats 200 Euros or 240 USD. 200 Euros times 3 = 600 Euros a week, makes 2400 a month plus your expenses from Sunday to Wednesday, let's say 120 Euros a day. Times 4. Times 4. Makes additional 1940 Euros. It's easy to spend some 4000 Euros for restaurant, drinks, driver, girls every month.

Lagos is not a cheap place!

It's better to have a constant local gf and go out for mongering from time to time. But I forgot, also the constant gfs need a lot of money. It starts slow but then she will need more money every week because of some accident, disease, disaster in her family and the only one who can help will be you. Maybe it's even more expensive to have a constant local gf.

La Playa was almost empty. My driver told me that some time ago there was a big argument between Eniola (the lady boss, owner's wife) and one if the long term permanent guests, big wahala! Since that many permanent guests don't go anymore to that place.

Avid reader and follower of these threads, new poster though, the first of many.

I have been lucky enough to be posted out to Victoria Island for a year or so and I sure would like to get in on some of this action. I will not have too much to do in my free time other than monger so in return for good tips and advice I will be sure to return the favour with good reports and intel that I have managed to pick up while I am there.
