I just want to add that I fully agree with BW69. I took heed of his advice some time back and now try to restrict myself to girls that moonlight for a bit of extra money. They all seem to be less wahalah than the full time bar girls.

There's a few places on Allen Avenue and Opebi Road (5 mins from the Sheraton) where chicks hang out on a Sunday afternoon. Ask the barman for a few names of bars/cafes. There's also a pole dancing club on Opebi but I don't think it opens until the evening.I'll post the link if I can find it.

However, given probably residence in a top end Lagos hotel by courtesy of the company and little probability of escape, I guess the rates for female acquisitions in the bars etc of such a place are likely to be higher than the N6000 you suggest, even for short time. While not mean I do not want to spoil things for locals by paying too much - suggested offer? I am usually quite good at negotiating.

Been a while since I posted on WSG, mainly because I have written all there is to be written about my regular stomping ground, Istanbul.

Anyways, been in Lagos for a couple of months, and I can now give my opinion about the mongering scene here.

First things first, all of you guys flying in for a couple of days, please STOP paying what you are paying! I have yet to meet any girl who will not accept and even (eventually) be happy with ₦4000 to ₦6000, that is from whenever you take her home to whenever you kick her out, in my case ususally by 11 am on weekends . I have not paid more than ₦5,000 plus about 500 for the “taxi”. They moan and complain, and act all pissed off, then sad, then threatening, but don’t let that get to you, it’s just part of the act and part of dealing with the WG in Nigeria. DO NOT PAY THEM IN $ or €, just make sure you have locsl currency and use that!

Hotels – I stayed at 2 different 5 star hotels in Lagos, and at the Hilton in Abuja, believe me they have no problems with girls coming in. Just be casual about it when going in, and have some small change on hand in case one of the “security” people starts to be a pain and makes a big deal. Again, do not exaggerate, ₦500 is VERY good, and may even be on the high side if it is only a regular guard. Thankfully I am at a guest house now so I don’t have that issue anymore.
