Hi Big,

I assume you stay at some decent hotel? They have taxies for you. You pay like 3k Naira for 3 hours and then 1k Naira for each additional hour. There are many hunting places on VI. I suggest you take a look at www.oyibosonline.com for an overview of restaurants and bars. But a couple of quick tips:

- Pats bar. Nice bar and expat hangout. And plenty of nice girls. Relatively relaxed. The girls have to pay to get into Pats, so they are then not the cheapest ones. Expect $50-100 for a night.

- Havanna. Just opposite the road from Eko hotel and closer to Bar beach. Less pricey, but quality on ladies varies more. Some really good ones though.

- Ynot. This place is pure madness. The girls are on you so tight you might want to pay a bouncer to make them keep a little distance. All qualities to be found there. I haven't picked up there myself, but I assume you can negotiate a nice price. Be careful though, the ladies here seems pretty desperate.

Anyway, be careful agreeing on service and price up front. The mentioned places are just 3 of many. Check Oyibosonline for more info.

Good lord. 100USD does not count as a dive hotel in my view. Wonder if anyone knows of cheaper options.

I paid the ladies right around what you pay. That seems fair considering the situation and what they have to pay for access to Pat's. My approach is that we don't want to raise prices by paying too much, but at the same time even these amounts we pay are not much in the bigger picture of what we can afford.

By the way, I am also seeking information on brothels in the area. I like pretty skanky places...anyone know of some in the VI/Ikoyi area?

Don't really know any cheaper hotels. Try asking the ladies at Pat's. They should have a good "inside view" of hotels in the area;-)

Regarding Brothels, there are a few hotels around where ladies live and do their trade. Not actually a brothel. But these hotels are mostly found in the local areas of Lagos.

For down right skanky place, I've heard of a place called Wazobia in Apapa. Never had a chance to go. They say it is even more seedier than Mona Lido (which is a experience in itself). Apparently Wazobia has short time rooms in the back to do the deed.
