I'm in, too.

I've been watching the Tunis thread for years and have always been disappointed with its info. First, Tunis has a wealth of options. No, it does not have the type of fun offered in Europe or Asia, but if you put in the time you get back more than your investment. It's simply a different game. Do not go to the "redlight districts" in Tunisia expecting to see anything but a depressing situation. Furthermore, any of the cafe girls downtown will be, at best, a big disappointment. The Banlieue, gentlemen, is where things are. I realize this doesn't help those on vacation or who are short for time, but for those ex-pats living here there is hope. I have accumulated a nice assortment of local, open-minded friends ranging from 7s-9s. My problem has always been locale, preferring to have someone else host for a more relaxed encounter free of neighbors' prying eyes. But it must be done well. I think something can be worked out but as I do not have private membership to PM, someone has to get clever. I'm open to suggestions. The rest should be discussed in person. Shall I continue having all the fun myself?

I am coming tomorrow (02 July) to Sousse, and I'll be staying there for 10 days. Are you leaving tomorrow? Hope not!

If you are going to be in Sousse beyond 02 July, we got to meet. I am coming with a friend who had been to Sousse already once some 4 years ago. We'll probably be able to meet up somewhere if you are still in Sousse since he knows the town. Is anyone else going to be in Sousse during the 02 July to 12 July period?

My main question is about the Sousse medina Red Light District! Has anyone gone there recently? How are the prices and is that place safe? The friend I am travelling with did not go there 4 years ago, but his 2 fellow co-travelers went there and they said they got attacked and barely saved their heads. They told us to try to get in touch with taxi drivers, and maybe waiters and receptionists, and ask them to refer us some place or a working girl, but to avoid Sousse medina RLD at all costs! Can anyone else confirm this rumor?

On the other hand, ButtLover gave a fairly positive report about Sousse Medina RLD, which I am glad. The prices ButtLover gave also sound acceptable, if not great! . Can anyone give a more recent report since ButtLover's is from 2009?

On the bright side, my friend told me that he managed to score 3 or 4 times (I don't remember exactly) 4 years ago. So I am pretty self-confident that I'll be able to score something too, since I am really hard working and determined when it gets to getting laid! .

Where exactly did you get approached by the girls looking to marry a westerner?

Only I thought free mixing between the sexes was a strict no-no in Tunisia, especially for local girls.

At the end of the mini Champs Elysee there is a LARGE outdoor cafe where local girls sit. A few approached me after giving me the once over.

Also there is a shopping mall a few hundred yards from this cafe. Across the road from Hotel Africa or so. On the top floor is a very nice revolving cafe full of hot young things. Many with boyfriends. It is expnsive by local standards so some of the girls there hook onto white guys.

Generally I think TUNIS is the worst goddam shit hole on earth. And I have been to literally dozens of the worst shit holes one earth, just HATE that place.

I got hit on by gays all day every day in Tunis, it is a boring vile place. Better to stay out at the beaches La Marsa Plage or Carthage in a decent hotel

I did get lucky with the girl who works at the Orange telephone company office on the main road in Tunis opposite Hotel africa, she is a mid 30's blondie just looking to meet nice foreigners and she speaks ok English.

Also got approached by some young attractive virgin Muslim girls basically looking to get out of Tunisia by marrying a westerner or just looking for a free meal.

I got stuck there once during Ramadan. I spent a year in bordeom terms in one week. God awful place. Medina sucks and if you walk off the mini Champs Elysee there is nothing. Zero to do unless you want to hang with the fags at the bars along the road and if you are a good looking guy they will approach you.

I spent all my time on the shuttle / trains to go out to the beach or watching soccer rerunss in my room / s.

Of all the places I have lived in or visited around the world this is the WORST.

Just some info on what the nightlife is like, local crowd etc. Best places to meet local girls or to pick up working girls?
