Near the clock tower downtown, there is hotel Abu Nawas. Just ask the guardian and he will bring to you very beautiful young girl .. almost 100 $ for overnight.

In the airport you can find some girls too ..

Sousse has a small Amsterdam-style red light district, it's even mentioned in the Lonely Planet guidebook. It's quite easy to find. The medina (old quarters surrounded by a wall) has two gates on its west side. Walk in through the northern of these gates, turn left immediately and you're there.

There are normally about 20 women or so there, daytime as well as evening. They stand in the doorways saying "viens" (means "come") as you walk by. As in Amsterdam you pay the lady and do the deed in her room.

Good news: it's cheap and easy. I tried it out once and paid 20 dinars (about 15 Euro) for a covered S&F.

Bad news: it's the most hideous collection of prostitutes I have ever seen. Fat, old, ugly, bad teeth. The one I visited was a 4, maybe a 5, all the others i saw were 1:s or 2:s. Almost all seemed to be over 45 yeasr of age. It's that bad.

I found the restaurant bagdag that Raxxxx mentions in his report near the clock tower but it seems not to be in bussiness anymore. It was closed and furniture and staff all dirty and not used for ages.

Any other hot spot around Tunis?

I am in Tunis since about a week and am looking forward to hear about experiences and reports of pros and no pros in Tunis and the surrounding cities, like La Marsa, La Goulette, etc.

I have not seen much places and tried to enquiry about places or bars with pros but no information.

There are however lots of bars and discos in La Marsa, is there any action there?

Hammamet info.

I lived for almost 6 months in Hammamet. Quite hard to find both pro and non pro (worthable).

There is a kind of brothel (actually a private apartment) close to the train station. Ask for "la gare du Hammamet". Local people knows it very well. Still, the place is not very easy to find if you don't know someone who can bring you there.

Moreover, girls are not stunning at all.

Close to the staion there are also bar and disco where you can find some semi-pro.

Those place are not exactly for tourist (and not that clean too). You'd better go there with some Tunisian then (remember: NO stunning again).

If you are instead looking for normal girl, better go Havana Club, British Bar or Calypso CLub (they are very close to each other, not more then 300 mtr). Here you can find real beauty! Some Tunisian are really stunning!

I have just returned from a two weeks in Hammamet. I stayed in the Jasmine area in Hammamet south. The place is very nice and everything is ok.

In the bar-restaurant Theater you can find some local girl. Ask to the manager. In the restaurant there is a singer who plays some Arabic songs; all the people are very noisy but don’t care to the appearance, the bar is ok. The best time is 11PM. There are 6-8 girls.

Another thing to do is to ask directly to the taxi driver. You ask in the afternoon and he provides for the night. The taxi driver gives you his mobile phone so you can call him.

Another thing is to go with the taxi driver to the bars and disco-bar. You indicate the girl and he speaks. The best day is Saturday. The bars are: Habana, Latino, and the disco is Manhattan. Those are normal bars but in those place there are some workers.

There is restaurant – bar (I don’t remember the name) but it is very beautiful because there are some girls. The only thing I remember is that it was on the street from Hammamet to Mammamet south, the street could be at the end of the Estates Unites 2 minutes from the Sinbad Hotel in direction South on the left (sea side). From the street you can recognize it because there is a person standing out of the door and some blue light. Even if it is a restaurant there is band that plays local songs. The place is good looking.

You can ask to the concierge of your hotel, but it is not so easy. You must be lucky.

I have asked to many persons if there was any Russian girls (or from the Eastern Europe). And I was said “off course, they arrive in the summer period! And there are many girls!”. The summer period is from June to Sept.

Not all the local girls are beautiful. But if she is beautiful she is fantastic. There are white girls with green eyes, incredible.

All the prices are from 15 to 150 €. Try to reduce the prices! She says 100 and you 30…

Hammamet is the place of the rich Tunisian people, there are also many Arabic (Lebanon, Algeria…) rich persons who go there in summer time; off course the most are European. The city lives on the tourism so you don’t have any problems with locals because you are a tourist, there is many police. All the hotels and the disco are focused on a high standard of quality. The best place in Hammamet is the Yasmine one.

Is it comparable to Morocco where you can pick up semi-decent girls on one night stands?

I was in Tunis last week The only action I found was in the Bagdad bar and restaurant, Near the clock tower downtown. Mostly 5-6s. The qirl took me back to her apartment, good value for about $40.

I heard there's a street with some brothels in Medina of Sousse, can anybody confirm this?
