I'm planning a trip to Cairo during Eid in July and have read some of the posts here about hotels. Besides the Sofitel Gezira mentioned in a previous post, can anyone recommend any hotel that's girl friendly? Has anyone had experience staying in the Safir Hotel or the Pyramisa hotel? I'm travelling by myself, so I don't want too much scrutiny if I had a girl come to my room in the hotel or if we were to enter together.

In other countries, I've found that taxi drivers were helpful in finding girls, but do the taxi drivers in Cairo help out with this or do they just try to rip you off?
