Tonight my cabbie drove me to a villa on the outskirts of Sharm, where he promised there would be about 15 beautiful Egyptian girls to choose from. There's a big conference in town so many of the girls were already booked. Only three girls there when I arrived, and two of them left for a booking soon after, leaving one girl - mid 20s, pretty chubby. I like a bit of wobble, but she was too much wobble. They quoted $200 take-away to my hotel, or $100 ST in the villa. I passed on the offer.

Dropped into a couple of clubs on the way home, but too early, and things were quiet. Early morning coming up, so couldn't stay out until 5am like I did last night (my head still hurts!) Took a different cab, and the driver said he could arrange a beautiful local girl tomorrow night for $100 plus a tip for him. Will see what he has to offer, if anything.

Well, my date cancelled last night, citing work commitments. She said she would be free tonight instead. We'll see. Don't want to wast time waiting for her.

I hit a couple of clubs last night instead. First one was Black House at Rosetta Hotel, where I noticed all the Russian girls in the lobby the night before. The doormen tried to charge an exhorbitant entry fee, but I feigned shock and horror and they immediatley halved it, two drinks included. It was full of Russians, but mostly guys, and there was a stage-show of willowy Russian ballerina-type dancers in lycra outfits. Not bad, but not what I was there for, so after a while I left and went to Hard Rock.

At Hard Rock, there were two girls sitting at the bar with an empty seat between them. They didn't know each other, and I was deciding which one to try for. One was super good looking, the other one was average but not bad. I went for the average one, thinking I'd have more of a chance. I sat on the bar stool between them and tried to speak to Miss Average. She couldn't speak a word of English, and despite our sign-language conversation and awkward laughs, we were getting nowhere fast.

I gave up and turned towards Miss Super Good Looking. She could speak a few words of English, but soon I saw her smiling over my shoulder. I looked around and it turned out her boyfriend was sitting on the chair where Miss Average was sitting a few minutes earlier. I asked the guy if he was with Miss Supergood, and he said with a smile 'yes'. I said 'sorry!' and stood up to let him sit with her. He said 'Nyet problyem - you are man and she beautiful woman'. I walked away with my tail between my legs. The rest of the crowd was all groups or couples. Some hot girls, but it would have meant a lot of work, and it was already late.

I tried to call my cabbie who said he had contacts for Russian and Egyptian girls. His phone was off! So it was home alone. Maybe better luck tonight.

I arrived in Sharm yesterday. After settling in and doing some work, I contacted a gal I met online. We arranged to meet last night for a drink. Because I was having problems with my roaming phone service, we had a few problems coordinating and meeting up, so when we finally met 90 minutes after the arranged time, she had a gift for me - a local phone chip, so we could keep in contact.

While waiting for her in a hotel lobby, I noticed the Russian tourists, especially the many gorgeous Russian/FSU/CIS girls who often get mistaken for hookers due to their over-the-top sexy outfits and heavy make-up. Two girls were making eyes with me from across the room while I cradled my drink and waited for my blonde date (or maybe they were just wondering why I kept looking at them so much. ). One of them took a photo of me from across the room and smiled. How bizarre. But then again, I often get mistaken for Brad Pitt.

Eventually my date turned up. I was pleasantly surprised, as she was better looking than her photos. We had a drink and some chit-chat, then she took me to a couple of clubs (free entry, as she seems to know all the doormen in town). She's been working for a large hotel here for a few years, and wherever we went, people knew her and greeted her with hugs. This place is a small resort village, and all the non-tourists know each other. She's a bit of a party animal, and I had a hard time keeping up with her dancing. She's in her 30s, looks about 28, but she still thinks she's a teenager.

We called it an early night at 1:00am, as we both had to get up at 7:00am for work. I'm meeting her again tonight to paint the town red, and who knows what might happen after that, as we don't have an early morning tomorrow.

In case things don't work out with her, I had a chat with a young cabbie on the way back to my hotel last night, and he said he could arrange girls. If I want a 'Russian' girl, I can take her to my hotel room. If I prefer an Egyptian girl, I have to go to her apartment or take her to a two-star hotel, as it's too risky for Egyptian girls to go to a resort hotel with a guy.

It's been a while, after moving from Cairo last fall I'm back for a short visit. Looking forward to visiting Dream Gym! I see a lot seems to be going on these days, might even have to venture down to Maadi one of these days. Here are a few other suggestions:

I met several non-pros on myspace. Many are not interested in a sexual relationship, a few our, they are easy to figure out. I won't share contacts as they are friends now. The problem is that it takes a lot of time chatting them up. If you reside there, it is worth a shot.

Before leaving I visited the Marriott garden cafe a few times. There are two sides worth checking out. The shisha garden has some wgs, but it is very difficult to connect with them unless you are lucky enough to be sitting next to any. The other option is the cafe on the other side, near Harry's pub. Met a stunning Sudanese / American girl there who for 500 egp spent the night. She was sitting there alone one night and I sat at the table next to her and we just started chatting. I then joined her and we chatted a bit. She wanted to go party and dance so we went to Latex at the Nile Hilton. We danced a bit, it got quite physical and I invited her back to my place for a "night cap. " I wasn't sure if she was a wg or not, but when she asked for some "financial assistance" it became clear. I don't think she is a regular wg, but who knows. I called her again two nights later and she came over, no charge! She was very animated, gave BBBJ, mish, doggy, took a shower and did some more! Why is it one hits the jackpot a week before leaving! Unfortunately I don't have her contact as I didn't think I would return to Cairo. With the dwell of Chinese immigrants coming to Maadi over the last few years that is to be expected. Could you provide a little more details about the Chinese girls? Young, old? Price?

I had noticed the Chinese girls several times during my previous visits to the Far East, but had not paid much attention: They seemed young (early to mid-20ies? ) and average looking. With no attempt to attract anyone with a special outfit. Romours had they were expensive, above the typical 500 or 600 L. E. Asked by the Ethiopians, who are aleady above the Sudanes.

Some with an innocent teenager outlook. Normally I would be into something like this, but among the giggling crowd of them (six or eight) it was another one who caught my attention. She stood out having two outstanding features – her big non-Chinese breast. Together with her long blond hair this made her looking like a sex-doll come alive. (Very easy to recognize, so no need to mention a name). So I could not resist to try her once, although I’m normally into a more natural appearance. She did not speak that much English, you are more leikely to get some child-like giggling out of her.

Curiosity did win, I was even ready to pay the ridiculous price of 800 L. E. To try the "doll".

She seemed to well known to the guards around there and even the taxi drivers. Upon leaving the Far East I got approving comments.

The first attempt did not work – we had entered the car already, but she got called back by what seemed to be her "friend" (or business affilitate, I did not find out). She offered one of her friends as a stand-in, who was plain and average looking, so I refused.

A few days later another chance. She guided us to an apartment, she took a shower before the start, but it was a complete disappointment – a doll could have been more active than her.

No details worth to be mentioned. It was just an experience. May be that curiosity will make me try an innocent one some time, I will report on it.

Far East bar/restaurant is on Nasr Street in New Maadi. Just up the road from the Shell petrol station. Amended its name a while ago and now is Far East/Maharaja/Zen Zen. Big red illuminated fascia. Food is supposed to be OK but the bar activity starts towards midnight. Might appear closed but go in and keep walking through what will be an empty eating area at that time of night. Bar right at the back. Very much a pot luck location.
