I read a lot about street mongering in Maadi and I don't have a car and thus mongering is restricted to my ability to walk! I am an expat so picking up a chic is easier!

Feeling that I've done more chit-chat than actual reporting lately, I decided to see with fellow monger Rampantrodd what the fuss is about with this new bar in Maadi called Rig1 that some have mentioned here, conveniently located on the street parallel to where Koreana is. Being Egyptian, I had to have a foreigner friend with me as they would probably turn down or give bullshit excuses like "there is a party and it is member only" to a lone Egyptian. First impression is the bar looked a lot bigger than Koreana and less cramped than other bars in the area, with more than a dozen Africans (nearly all looked 6/10 at best) and not more than 5 Asian-looking women (9/10). Half the bar occupied with the pool table area and the other sitting in groups. I sat and chatted with an Asian-looking group of two (both looked late 20s to early 30s) who said they were from the Phillipines (their accent gave it away) and who tried to convince me and make up a story that they are not hookers but just "here for fun." I tried to interpret that as they were going to ask a high price. I bought them a beer and upon asking the required damage for takeaway, I was shocked when she said 1000 L. E, as in their own country they typically go for the equivalent of 100 L. E. In addition, local Phillipina maids have a monthly salary of USD$200, which is 200 L. E. More of the 1000 L. E. They asked for. Needless to say, I used my brain rather than my dick and finished my beers and took off as I neither had any interest in the Africans and the Asians thought their shit smelled good.

Egypt is an absolute waste of time for a tourist who does not speak Arabic or who will only be visiting for a short time. I tried to use the information provided on this site but was unable to due to my lack of Arabic and due to the fact the this type of activity is truly condemned in Egpty.

I went of a wild goose chase trying to utilize the information provided on the board, but the problem is that if you don't speak Arabic you will not be able to find any of the places. Also none of the places listed are in the tourist area, they are about 1 hour from downtown each way when you factor in traffic so you are really wasting your time.

Next the massage parlors don't have any signs or pictures up and if there are signs up they aren't in English so you can't understand them.

Secondly the board does not provided any truly specific details regarding address or contact info.

My best advice is to avoid Egypt for the sport.

However, later that night I did accidentally find a bar called Africans where it appeared that the ladies where very friendly. This bar was near the city of Giza.

However, all in all unless you are an insider this board is of little information about Egypt. I didn't try but maybe you could ask someone at the hotel for information but that might not be worth the security risk. You don't want to end up in jail. It is crazy that a country going through so much financial turmoil doesn't create better opportunities for the sport.

By Africans you surely means Africana? You found the best place, in my opinion.

There has been so much talk about massage place that it is long time since there has been talk about bars where you can find girls.

In Maadi there is Far East, bar called Rig? (former X-bar) , and Koreana. They are all near each others, but Maadi is confusing place, it is diffult to find these places for a tourist. There are lot of instructions written on this forum, but if you are first time in Cairo probably you will not find them. Taxi driver you take from hotel probably finds Maadi if you pronounciate it right, but he will not find Far East or other places, no matter how long he asks other people.

In Marriot hotel there is one bar, is it Frank's bar? I don't remember.

And then there is Africana, where everybody goes late at night.

And that is, these are all the places, and same girls always in all of these places, mostly black South Sudanese. If black girls are not your taste, then you will have very boring time

I, unfortunately, would have to agree with you that this is not the place to just drop in and score. You need to have contacts, either with the girls or an Egyptian friend if you don't speak Arabic. As for posting details like addresses on the forum, I think the reasons behind that have been made pretty clear by others. I've had people PM me before they get here and I've tried to help, including offering to take them to an MP or another place. Instead, they decide to go it alone and the results are pretty predictable.

If you're a tourist looking for some sport, my advice is make contact with a senior member or hit up any Egyptian friends or colleagues you may have who would likely have some info. And, don't post and say you're in some 5 star hotel and hoping to get someone up to your room. It just doesn't work. You either need to go to an MP or rent a flat for the day in the Haram area and have the bawab fix you up. It's really not that hard, but the problem is that folks are always looking for a short cut and, in Egypt, short cuts usually lead to dead ends.

If you don't know where to find an apartment, ask a cab driver who works in the Giza area or in mohandesin. You don't need to say you're looking for girls. They'll figure that out by themselves. Just say you want an apartment for a day or two that's safe and private. Once you're in, the bawab can hook you up. If you decide to hit a haram street club, then you'll also at least have a place to take them back to that you're sure won't have any unwelcome surprises or interruptions by hotel security etc.

On the street girls, Maadi for me is often a discouraging trip. I've always heard about action on Nozha st (not on this forum) but never ran into any. Don't know if others have any experience around Heliopolis / Nasr City / Sheraton.

If you read throught the previous posts by Egy Monger you will note he gives very good directions to the street scene in Maadi and having been along on a couple of trips around the streets with him I can vouch the scene is still very active.

There's definitely still some street action going on in Maadi and a handful of working girl houses across the city where a mamasan can arrange girls for you in an incall or outcall basis. But of course, as it's always been an insider scene there's no way in hell I'm sharing the details in public anymore because I risk losing the contacts myself because you never know who is reading the forum. About the sharing contacts, fair enough man. Although I'm not that paranoid, I totally agree we have to play things the safe way. You can always share something in the public domain, keep a few things for private, and keep other things to yourself. As most of the guys here are looking for some action in nasr city and since HD closed I've been trying different MPs around the area (Nasr City and Heliopolis) and there were no good MPs at all.
