I was in Cairo during Ramadan and had no real problem getting laid. Several Africans around the hotel, some average to horrendous, some OK to good. Picked up a Sudanese, no problem taking her up to the room. EGP400 short time, plus I bought her dinner. Nice personality, good bod and above average in the sack.

Saw a stunning Arabic girl outside the casino, but did not pursue as I had already dined.

I have been here for a month and nothing, kinda getting slightly annoyed, because from what I have been able to ascertain I am not in the "know". Have yet to check out the Hard Rock, but there seems to be some positive feedback, accordingly I plan to check it out.

In Cairo you may find free lancers. And quality differ so much and depends on your luck.

You may also try to contact girls through dating sites. Many egyptian and other nationalities seach for BF through the dating sites. I tried it (I'm Egyptian) and it worked so well. I picked a divorced lady 32 years old that want a man dedicated to fuck her only and never cheat on her but that requires having a great deal of experience with the mentlalty of egyptian girls and many of them won't like the idea of making an intimate relationship with non egyptian to avoid the curious eyes if you'll have to take her in public places. Girls here are tend to be more oriented to local boys since hanging around with non egyptians is unusual to so many of them and it would bring many curious eyes to the girl since curiosity is one of the most ugly things in egyptians personality

Upper Egypt, unlike what might suggest the name is the Southern part of Egypt. It's mainly rural, remote and conservative, and everything is concentrated along the Nile. The main cities like Assyut Nag Hammadi or Quena are dominated by muslim extremists. It's highly recommended not to go for tourism here, let stand for mongering. Luxor has a very different atmosphere due to the tourism industry and Aswan too in a lesser extend. However, you will find no action whatsoever even in these two cities, unless you manage to hook up with an occasional single female tourist. But here is the best kept secret of Upper Egypt: there is one brothel, it's the only one and it is in Kom Ombo, 165km south when going from Louxor towards Aswan. It caters to the boat crew that need to make a stop over here when travelling on the Nile between Louxor and Aswan. It's cheap but don't expect quality, girls are ugly, dirty and come from Soudan. But if you still want to try it, take a taxi from Louxor, he will bring you there. Best is to ask to a christian driver, they are easy to recognize as the taxi is decorated inside with christian orthodox symbols instead of muslim symbols.

Technically speaking, coast towns like Hurghada and Safaga belong also to Upper Egyt. However, most people wil refer to this area as the Red Sea area, not Upper Egypt. People are very different here, as they are originally fishermen and sailors doing trade with neighboring countries, not farmers. They are culturally much more open minded, and nowadays even more due to the touristic flow. Muslim extremists have few inpact here. Atmosphere is very relaxed and there is plenty of nightlife in the resorts but also in the center of Hurgahada (for Egyptian standards of course). The tourists here are also much younger as the Red Sea resorts cater to divers and windsurfers. There are plenty of opportunities to score with female tourists. There is no P4P whatsoever. You will probably notice all those Russian young girls working in the resorts. Mind you, they are not hookers. However, most are single and easy to go with, especially if you have money. Take care however, they are very beautiful, you might fall in love and end up married...

Walked around forever, went into every hotel lobby and bar I could find and even asked a few cab drivers. Couldn't find any action. Heading to Cairo hopefully it won't be as frustrating.
